A Samsung Group subsidiary has worked on a robot sentry that they call the SGR-A1, and this particular robot will carry a fair amount of weapons that ought to make you think twice about crossing the borders of South Korea illegally – as it has been tested out at the demilitarized zone along the border over with its neighbor, North Korea. The SGR-A1 will be able to detect intruders with the help of machine vision (read: cameras), alongside a combination of heat and motion sensors.

Amazing video released by the RUV (Icelandic Geologic Agency). Showing several minutes worth of lava flows occurring at Icelands Bardarbunga Volcano. The first two weeks of September proving phenomenal for anyone who studies volcanism.

Last week, a TORNADO formed over the lava flows, producing a toxic, boiling hot vortex of Sulfur Dioxide. Watch that video here:

This video is a repost.

This original video was FLAGGED DOWN by "euronews", falsely claiming they "own" the rights to the public RUV Icelandic agency lava footage. I've made 100% sure this footage is public domain, released by RUV itself (the icelandic version of the USGS).

It was my most popular video this month, took down. Last month, they took down the Mexico crack / fissure in the ground video, my most popular video last month. Meanwhile everyone elses video showing the same thing still stands (and they're even running ads on their videos no less!)

I'm seeing a pattern.

Rooke was found not guilty and he was not fined for failure to pay the licensing fee.

Astronomers have just discovered the smallest known galaxy that harbors a huge, supermassive black hole at its core.

The relatively nearby dwarf galaxy may house a supermassive black hole at its heart equal in mass to about 21 million suns. The discovery suggests that supermassive black holes may be far more common than previously thought.

A supermassive black hole millions to billions of times the mass of the sun lies at the heart of nearly every large galaxy like the Milky Way. These monstrously huge black holes have existed since the infancy of the universe, some 800 million years or so after the Big Bang. Scientists are uncertain whether dwarf galaxies might also harbor supermassive black holes.

The House on Wednesday passed legislation to audit the Federal Reserve System.

Passed 333-92, the bill would require the comptroller general to conduct an audit of the Federal Reserve's board of governors and banks within one year and submit a report to Congress on the findings. A total of 106 Democrats joined all but one Republican in support of the measure.

A version of the bill sponsored by then-Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) passed in 2012 by a vote of 327-98. Paul's son, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), has introduced companion legislation in the Senate.

Here, we report the experimental observation of a dynamical quantum phase transition in a strongly interacting open photonic system. The system studied, comprising a Jaynes-Cummings dimer realized on a superconducting circuit platform, exhibits a dissipation-driven localization transition. Signatures of the transition in the homodyne signal and photon number reveal this transition to be from a regime of classical oscillations into a macroscopically self-trapped state manifesting revivals, a fundamentally quantum phenomenon. This experiment also demonstrates a small-scale realization of a new class of quantum simulator, whose well-controlled coherent and dissipative dynamics is suited to the study of quantum many-body phenomena out of equilibrium.
