Massive Global Eruptions

11/29/2012 -- Large eruptions at Sakurajima Volcano - Japan

It has been a while since we've seen sizable eruptions occurring at Sakurajima Volcano in Japan. Last year (2011 going into 2012) we saw MULTIPLE eruptions per day....Quieting down through mid-2012 -- and now we see it back in action today (november 29, 2012).

This current series of eruptions, producing large ejections of lava, static discharge lightning, and lava bombs (fireballs) ejected a few KM from the caldera... ash cloud extending multiple KM down wind.

Not at all but there are stresses on the south eastern plates which are building up great amounts of pressure.
