And yes -  there's a chance the AGW hypothesis could be incorrect.
THere's a chance that any hypothesis could be incorrect.

At last!

At last what?!?!

At last an AGW disciple admits that the AGW hypothesis could be incorrect.

Put the strawman down Greggery.  We are not interested.

We are still waiting for an explanation.  Remenber - you told us that the measurement of C12/C13 ratios in atmospheric CO2 is not credible evidence to demonstrate that majority of the increase in concentration of atmospheric CO2 is anthropogenic in origin.  You told us was not credible - and when asked to explain why it wasn't credible - you couldn't

Are you ready to explain your statement to us yet?
Do you have any basis for it?
Or was it just something Bolty told you?

Um, no: I have no intention of explaining anything to you.

You are shown evidence.
You claim it is "not credible"
When asked why it is "not credible" - you run away.

Good work Greggery.

My views on the subject aren't that important (and neither are yours).

Yes - we know Greggery
You are shown evidence.
You claim it is "not credible"
When asked why it is "not credible" - you run away.

At least I am able to support my opinions Greggery.
I don't just parrot somthing I saw on the Bolt show, like you do.

Nice strawman Greggery.

Why don't you try explaining your opinions before you start telling silly lies and trying to invent arguments that don't exist.

Mission accomplished.

You seem to set yourself very low goals Greggery.

Why don't you make your next mission:

I must not express stupid opinions that I am unable to support.

Oh, Ash-Leigh.  Don't tell me you're one of those silly AGW disciples who think there's absolutely no chance that the AGW hypothesis could be incorrect.  That's not very scientific of you.

Tsk tsk    Roll Eyes

We all know the meaning of the word hypothesis, greggery. It just so happens that this hypothesis is all but certain and the implications are dire.

Hunt says Coalition accepts IPCC findings

"What does this mean? It means that we need to do practical things that actually reduce emissions."

What is your point, exactly?

You go on and on, but don't seem to have any point.

My point is : the AGW hypothesis may be incorrect.   You've now admitted this.

What exactly is your point?  Do you even know?

Is there any chance at all that it could be incorrect?

I've said at least a dozen times that I have no problem whatsoever with people erring on the side of caution.

Have as many carbon taxes as you like: I couldn't care less.

Move all infrastructure away from the coast, and tax me more to pay for it: I couldn't care less.

You know this, so that's why I have to ask: what is your point?

You seem to be very confused.

My argument has always been that the AGW hypothesis is merely that - a hypothesis - and there is a chance it could be wrong.

I've never said that it's wrong, and I've never argued the point for an alternative hypothesis (although I have pointed out that others do exist).  I merely object to the AGW disciples who ignore all scientific principles by declaring that AGW is "scientific fact" (when there is actually no such thing).  Additionally, I object to the scaremongering.

There's no straw man here.  I'm staying right on topic.  It's you who seems to have gone off on a tangent.

Try to focus in the future, OK?

So, just to recap:

I just wanted to see if there was at least one AGW disciple who would be willing to acknowledge that the AGW hypothesis could be incorrect.  You have done that.

Mission accomplished.

Was there anything else?

Hitherto, I've seen very little to support that claim.
