Oh nothing,  I'm just so confused.  Every day I'm hearing how "not all (insert designated victim) are like that" and how I shouldn't make generalistaions based on silly things like statistical data, empirical evidence and so forth.  Now I'm hearing it's our right, nay our duty, to hold all 1 billion catholics to account for the crimes of a few hundred people in their hierarchy.  It's just so darn inconsistent.

why not ?? Those 1 billion have been funding them even when the bad stories have been circulating for years. What is their excuse for giving a corrupt religious institution money when it was public knowledge that they were cultivating and harbouring paedophiles ??

It's about time their crimes were taken seriously !!

Lets hope that Juliar doesn't hold a white-washed Cole Royal Commission that achieves absolutely nothing except to allow the criminals to get off scott free Sad

Hi Nail,
Is it possible that George Pell knew about pedophiles but didn't contact the police?

So you couldn't prove I was for the church, I was for the woman as long as she was of sound mind she could do with her assets as she pleased, so instead now you try and go after my family. What kind of a sick fukk are you nail?

Every attempt you make to try and take me down has been shot out of the sky because your claims are so ridiculous it's obvious you are high

Those examples proved my point, I said the woman is free to make up her own mind what to do with her own assets, providing she was of sound mind.

You have no idea if she was or wasnt.

And one of the quotes you put up was in reply to you bobby saying if the woman had of known about the events of hundreds of years ago she wouldnt have done it, so the church shouldnt get it.

Which once again proved my point, it is irrelevant.

And nice work not quoting all of my post you dog.

Bobby Wrote - Answering for Nail -
True - no dirt on them yet.
Didn't you read what I said?

What about those questions - are they really that hard for you to answer?

By the way - you can the book called -
The Case of the Pope: Vatican Accountability for Human Rights Abuse
by Geoffrey Robertson QC

from Amazon.com here:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Case-Pope-Vatican-Accountability-Rights/dp/0241953847 [/quote]

I wrote - Firstly, your questions are irrelevant, because at no stage do they address the rights of a woman to gift her assets to anyone she sees fit.

Secondly, The Church is the Order of the Capuchin Franciscan Fathers
in Australia has had no such allegations you and nail speak of.

Just because the Pope has failed to act appropiratley doesnt mean those on the ground floor should suffer.  I dont hold all Americans responsible for the actions of George Bush and their government for their actions on Iraq do I.

Oh and nail, all Churches in Australia must undergo an audit program every year to keep their charity status, and must report to ASIC accordingly.  It is not undertaken by the Vatican and it is not all hush hush like you claim.

I wonder if when the royal commission gets underway if we will find that the number is more than 1 in 20?

Pedo supporters your time is coming.

And how many supposedly-decent households hide a paedophile?

In my younger life, I knew of three such households and I hadn't been acquainted with too many more.

The mothers/wives hinted rather than told me straight out.

I guess they had put an end to the practice with threats of going to the police but it wouldn't have made pleasant living!

A good thrashing would do wonders for paedophiles who seem to have too much time for indulging their penises.
