Our budget deficit skyrockets, waste and overspending is occurring left right and centre, the “Infrastructure Government” hasn’t built a single thing,  the carbon tax is hitting every Australian family, our defence force becomes dilapidated  and our borders unsecure.

Can the Labor people please explain:

1)What they think the should be done to address the issues of debt and productivity?

2) What criteria they think should be applied to determine the cuts in existing programs that will be required to fund the dental scheme, the disability scheme, the school education reforms and the NBN?

No, this is not about what Howard and Costello did or didn't do. You've had the reigns since 2007, show some responsibility and leadership for once.

Julia Gillard - twice selected, never elected.

We're still paying for the Whitlam Government.

while your useing this word productivity in your statement, you won't find the answer your looking for.

its this, we must be more productive that is the problem in Australia, We have people here that actually beleive that other Australians arn't productive enough, Then we have a problem.

ie I can archive this but I don't think you can.

Reduce government outlays by eliminating middle class welfare (health insurance rebate, family tax benefit etc) and corporate welfare (e.g. car industry handouts).

No government funded paid parental leave schemes.

Review supperannuation tax concessions.

Encourage state government tax reform. Implement broad-based land taxes and eliminate conveyance duties. Harmonise payroll taxes.

Introduce reforms to make labour markets more efficient and flexible.
