Labor to lose in South Australia as well
Sep 25th, 2012 at 9:26am

Better get the Tarago ready for SA Labor.

The latest Newspoll, which comes 18 months before the next state election, due in March 2014, shows Labor’s primary vote has sunk to 28 per cent, down six points on the previous January-March Newspoll…

Once preferences are allocated, the ALP trails the Liberals 43 to 57 per cent.

Julia Gillard - twice selected, never elected.

We're still paying for the Whitlam Government.

Perhaps South Australian Labor Party should take a look at the kind of people it harbours.

I note that a Judge has declared that a kiddie fiddling charge should go ahead to the courts.

Na..12 yrs is about as much as any party can hang on before the people turn against them.
I tend to vote Liberal in SA state elections anyway but a turd in a paper bag could win the next election.

As indeed did occur in Vic, NSW and QLD.

WHY is this country so blindly determined to shaft itself?

Had nothing at all to do with the gross incompetence of the sitting labor party in each state, did it?

Parties don't lose in massive land slides unless they deserve it, and I can say for QLD that b1tch totally deserved to lose the election.

Its all about the "its time factor" we are never better off in the long run under a Conservative or Labor govt.
What makes the difference is the global economic health at the time any govt is in power.

You can be a fair sort of government that loses an election due to the 'it's time' factor, getting absolutely slaughtered at the polls that requires a certain level of incompetence usually only seen in a labor government.

QLD labor didn't get left with enough pollies to barely fill a tarago because they were in government for too long, they got their arses handed to them because they were inept at being a decent government.

The lefties need to realise that they are only good for one maybe two terms before they turn into the village idiots.

I tend to vote Liberal in state elections because contracting out govt work is good for my business so for purely selfish reasons Im happy for Liberal state govts until the end of time.

This is lunacy. Look what happened to Howard. he got beaten by a party running a campaign that was largely based around the notion that Howard had been in office too long and it was time for a change. Just sheer lunacy. The country was in such a great position when he was PM and then along comes Rudd and screws up all the hard work. I've no idea what SA is like under Labor as I don't read news from SA and I've never even been there, but if they're doing a good job running the state, they deserve to be re-elected no matter how long they've been in office. This kind of thinking demonstrates just how downright stupid Australian voters can be!

Couldn't have done, as all three states voted even MORE incompetent governments IN.

And are now suffering for their mistake.
