Nothing is for certain, who's to say there isn't a race so advanced that they can detect our existence from anywhere in the universe and come here in a split second.

Remember that your assumption about destruction is based on humans, I feel our problems come down a lot to communication and its fairly obvious there are a million other ways to do that.

I have read a bit of that book, very interesting.

Not likely given that we do understand the laws of physics quite well.

which is a macrocosmic definition of

the golden mean or ratio = 1.61803399

so i would assert that there are 161 + BILLION

stars in this galaxy and 161 + BILLION galaxies

in this universe as it happens the golden ratio/mean

is within the microcosm as well yes

there is a divine order that dictates reality

further

the elliptical arc of the electron around the nucleus

coincides perfectly with the rotation of planet around

star and star around the centre of galaxy further

the galaxys' elliptical arc around the universe and so on

as they observe the same order

as above

so below

There are roughly over 200 billion stars in the Milky Way alone.

Actually that only applies to a spiral galaxy at present, but it could apply to others, we just do not know. But note how the spiral is typically golden ratio..
