This is why the Greens scare the crap out of me!

The Greens have been caught out trying to promote the asylum seeker crisis as political bait to attract new members to its youth wing. Among the policies they want, the Australian Young Greens party wanted to push for a public debate on polyamorous marriage, which allows people to have several wives or husbands. Just insane stuff.

Let's see. According to AP:

Young Greens using asylum seekers as an issue to potentially attract new members = Bad.

Federal Liberal using asylum seekers as an issue to potentially attract more votes = Good.

And you're scared of the Greens? Maybe you should look in the mirror.

Why would I bother? As a committed conga line suckhole, you'd just go into denial. Doesn't matter though - last I saw around 70% of people recognised that Abbott was using the asylum seekers for his own ends.

It's certainly not my cup of tea, but I wouldn't call it "insane".

If that's what people want, good luck to them.

Why do you object to polyamorous marriage?

Or more importantly, why do you object to a public debate on polyamorous marriage?

This is the young greens - like young Labor and Liberals they try to get attention by shock and are almost always radical.

Like a current high profile Liberal minister as a young Liberal suggested a solution to the green issue.

Green concrete from the east to west coast would solve all of our environmental issues. This guy could lead the Liberals one day - his name does get mentioned.

Most illegal immigrants come by plane:

It's quite astounding that in 2012 there are still people who don't understand the difference between an asylum seeker and an illegal immigrant. Makes it difficult to take anything they say seriously if they can't grasp the basic facts.
