May 21st, 2012 at 8:54am

Quote:
Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb has lost his long battle with cancer at the age of 62, a statement from the singer's family has confirmed.

"The family of Robin Gibb, of the Bee Gees, announce with great sadness that Robin passed away today following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery," reads the statement. "The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time."

The Bee Gees and their contribution to the music industry is phenomenal ...they were not only a very successful musical group in their own right , they was also extremely successful in writing songs for others... Diana Ross, Olivia Newton-John, Barbara Streisand, Frankie Valli, Tina Turner, Dolly Parton and many many more.

RIP.

I know. I quite liked the Bee Gee's in my younger days. It was just a little take on the song they are best known for. I had to do it......sorry!

RIP Robin

I fully agree with Cods.

Very sad - The loss of a spectacular talent - I liked their early songs the best.
