Every single time theres any kind of scandal the travel expenses are examined and there it is. Its a perk of their positions. If you were to examine any one of them in any party you will find the same things. Its just a witchhunt. Thats all.

My point is consistency. If you examine 1 you should examine them all. The travel expenses are a perk of their positions. They get them with the job. One would expect that "travel expenses" would include the fare from the airport to your residence. Dont you think? SOB No one pays their own taxi or limo fare when travelling for business..thats what cabcharges and company credit cards are for. The media is relying on outrage from the great unwashed masses that are ignorant of these things and it is now the whole thing is reeking of an anti Slipper campaign by Murdoch and other purveyors of gutter rags but you dont claim cabcharge on PERSONAL business though, do you?. and that is what has apparently happened. But then again you support Thomson using corporate credit cards for hookers, so you can hardly say otherwise now. Just out of curiosity longmoron ... have you ever claimed something as a deduction for work when you in fact bought it for personal use? eg, those sunnies, mobile phone or laptop? or maybe $300 laundry allowance (if you say you never have your a liar because everybody does it .. your accountant will automatically claim things that you may be entitled to, but not actually spent)..... Is rorting the tax payer through claimed tax deductions any different than rorting through cabcharge ? no i havent. but in any case, he is an MP who knows what the rules are and he has blatantly broken them. And you shoudl be aware that he is under investigation for travel rorts over some years back as well. But you certianly have a funny way of looking at things. You make the same excuse for Thomson and his $100,000 worth of rorts including hookers. If this is the prevailing level of integrioty for which Labor is famous then their long line thru the courts on criminal cahrges is hardly surprising, is it? my way of looking at things is to not sit in judgement of others , you like to play the moral high card, when the libs have the lowest morals in the country ... I try to judge people as humans .. no one is perfect, he may have claimed travel, he may not ... I can tell you that just as many libs are doing it as ALP members....... and I don't believe you've never claimed anything you didn't deserve .... LIAR the moral high card might be a bit bent in Liberal circles but at least we still have one. the ALP sold theirs in exchange for a hooker who may or may not have been consenting or of legal age. a bit bent? not quite how I would put it ... and I don't give a rats about people seeing hookers, that's up to them. They serve a purpose whether you like it or not on embezzled money? thats all good too? and you seem to have miss the other ALP penchant for sex that is NOT legal. is that an ALP penchant? or the penchant of a couple of ALP members? You make out the libs have high morals ... they had nominated on the gold coast a guy who used to own a internet porn site... where were his morals ?.. he only got thrown out after it became public information .... where were the morals of the liberal party then you looser
