Shall we debate the GST under these terms Matty???

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Did she then publicly change her mind, prior to the 2010 election?

No she change her position due to the political situation she was faced with to form a minority Government....In the end we still got a better policy than direct action!!!

So then it's just another lie, akin to the carbon tax. Don't compare it to the GST, when Mr Howard had the guts and integrity to actually take it to an election.

Look here little boy....you provided a clip from 2006 two elections before Julia Gillard became PM.....Completely irrelevant....Julia Gillard changed her position due to the political situation she was faced with to form a minority Government!!!

If she didn't publicly declare before the 2010 election, that she had changed her mind about the health rebate, then it makes no difference - she lied, just like she did with the carbon tax. A rose is a rose is a rose is a rose.

So Howard lied about work choices then and invoked the biggest fraud on the Australian public in its history before Julia Gillard.....Howard set the standard we must now accept from our leaders then!!!

phil with the best will in the world.. I dont recall the Libs ganging up on Howard.... ever..I do not recall the leadership talk... all we get from them is leadership talk.. very unsettling.

I just dont recall all this during the Howard years..

like it or not her backflips have been amazing..even the pokermachine reform.. she waited until she got slipper on the chair..[still wondering who came up with that]..

and then she could discard him.. all pretty obvious and not unexpected from this women anymore..

I am not to sure how many trust a word that comes out of her mouth..but I know I dont.

Trust was never an issue raised in the media about Howard - the same cannot be said of Gillard, who is regularly called a liar in the media.

Really? You don't remember the media jumping on the Rudd bandwagon prior to him beating Howard? You don't remember the media sticking by Rudd when he was at his lowest, right up until it was obvious he was a goner? Media bias, my backside!

We were talking Howard - Gillard reporting.  Not sure why you bring Rudd into it.

Regardless - if the current Govt had lied to the level of the previous coalition Govt, and Howard in particular, the media would have whipped the brainless into a bigger frenzy than they are now over the Carbon "tax".  Instead the "children overboard", AWB fiasco, Howards holiday on taxpayer money, WMD, Medicare bulkbilling, University fees, etc, etc,  died in the media in very short time. Strange, don't you think?

When I comes to dishonesty Gillard does not hold a candle to the Liberals performance. Howard is the record holder in this catagory by a large distance.

Gillard has a huge credibility problem.

Watching her in interviews though she doesn't necessarily say any more 'untruths' as any other politician - the problem she has is that she is just so poor at interviewing and speaking that it comes across so badly.

You CANNOT answer "I have answered your question" and then when they follow up with 'You haven't' go and respond with "Well thats the answer I am going to give you".

I mean for fks sake woman, how do you think that is going to play well for you?
Why in your right mind would you think that will come out well when people watch it?

"That's the answer I will give you".

???????????

Labor, the party of lies, corruption, debt and taxes. Thanks for the video matty. I looked but couldn't find it.

Make sure you put this in your war chest for the next election, along with all the other vids.

the only people with credibility problems are those who cannot see that they ALL lie.  One side is not worse (or better) than the other.  If you accept the lying from one side and not the other, then it is you who have a problem.
