My only concern is these reforms did not go as far as they needed to, as far as winding back tax payers healthcare subsidies for the rich.. Cool

No she change her position due to the political situation she was faced with to form a minority Government....In the end we still got a better policy than direct action!!!

So then it's just another lie, akin to the carbon tax. Don't compare it to the GST, when Mr Howard had the guts and integrity to actually take it to an election.

Look here little boy....you provided a clip from 2006 two elections before Julia Gillard became PM.....Completely irrelevant....Julia Gillard changed her position due to the political situation she was faced with to form a minority Government!!!

This corrupt Political class will ensure political, social, economic, housing and employment security and stability or it will receive no cooperation and a growing resistance from the people. Smiley

If she didn't publicly declare before the 2010 election, that she had changed her mind about the health rebate, then it makes no difference - she lied, just like she did with the carbon tax. A rose is a rose is a rose is a rose.

So Howard lied about work choices then and invoked the biggest fraud on the Australian public in its history before Julia Gillard.....Howard set the standard we must now accept from our leaders then!!!

Indeed, but her head was not on a block - she didn't have to bribe independents and the Greenurds.

Had she also cheated in her exams to become a solicitor?

Judging by her vocabulary blunders, how had she passed in English, the most essentail subject in the practice of law?

Sure...

GST - taken to an election and voters given the opportunity to remove Howard.

Carbon tax - not taken to an election, in fact it was introduced by Gillard after it was promised emphatically that there would not be a carbon tax at the last election.

That's not debatable, really.
