we also know climate has something to do with temperature..again this has nothing to do with rain or cloud or sun and wind..

so explain it all to us philistines...

so at least we can all pretend to be living on the same planet.

You can look forward to a wood heater ban ripper!...or at the very least licencing.
A number of jurisdictions have already banned the installation of new wood heaters.

My gripe is that, last Xmas, my grandchildren have installed an air conditioner in my bedroom and now keep on asking "Do you switch it on"?

I don't want to disappoint them nor lie so switch it on occasionally, listen to its purr for a few minutes, then switch it off again.

. . .At least my next power bill won't make me blanch

just think how you are saving the planet??? for your grandchildren..

you do realize they will the generation that cannot live with a bit of heat or cold..it will be all about a machine keeping the temperature just so.. otherwise they will die..

I have a daughter that wants to wear a pair of shorts inside in the middle of winter ..

she is one of the meeeeeeeeeeeeee generation..

no bloody commonsense at all.
