As many online polls showing support of ones child, should it also be made legal to smack our political leaders?

It already is?

But it's called, "voting them out of power"!

That is a practice, I highly recommend, at every election, before they have time to settle in, to the worst abuses of power!

lets hope all those that vote green or independent that they take on board.. the power they are giving to a very small portion of people..

we now have a senate that will be pulling the string of govt... is that really what we want?

be it labor or Liberal at least they should be in charge..not this scratching each others backs.. its wrong.

What i was thinking was a vote every 3 years to be introduced to the people on what politician deserves to be put over a knee and be smacked on the bottom in front of free to air television. the smacking would of cause have to be done by the Governor General. and for it to be a smack on the bare bottom. maybe even to be done with a wooden spoon. this can easily be done with an extra box being added next to every candidate on the ballot paper.

Or you could say lets hope that those who voted Labor or Liberal rethink the power they have given to a very small portion of the people and vote for Greens and independents. They had just as much to do with the current situation.

But we may not have it for long Cods...At the next general election (whether it's held this year or next year) half of the senate will have to stand for election..
