Why did Norman Gunstan never enter politics? (Read 544 times)

Jan 29^th, 2012 at 10:42pm Back in the 1980's I use to watch Norman Gunstan's documentaries and greatly enjoyed his refreshing honesty and reflection upon all aspects of Australian life. I think that if he had ever entered the political arena he would have made a good politician. It's a shame that he was not there to contest John Howard.
