If I were an aborigine, I would wonder how wonderful life would be under the rule of the cruel Japanese back in their day.

The English may have been pompous and controlling, but look at the total freedom that ensued.

I am not saying everything is perfect, but WHAT IF, because there is no doubt, if it weren't the English that took over Australia, it would have been some other country to do so.

40,000+yrs of Aboriginal custodianship, a few hundred yrs beginning under British colonialist genocide, rape and pilliage and now we are at the beginning of 40,000+yrs of Asian custodianship..Yep the poms have been here less than a blink of time in history and they have managed to tear down most of the forests, poison every water source, ruin most of the arable land and bring to extinction many of the animals and birds that were here before they landed.
