The main reason he's the best choice for americas future, and also the reason he won't be nominated, let alone elected.

Quote:
Ron Paul’s six point plan puts a stop to illegal immigration:

1.Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.
2.Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
3.No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.
4.No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services.
5.End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.
6.Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation. This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.

What’s happening in the USA is Australia’s future in a decade.  Australia already has over 85% of criminal illegal boat people still on welfare after being here for 5 years. They come here and contribute nothing in tax money to our country or society, but expect every social service like education, medical, roads given to them in return for free.

These are the human parasite Australia don’t need.  Bring people into Australia that are willing to integrate and financially contribute to Australian society; not just people who want to birth a child here then expect everything for free.

If we had a politician like Ron Paul here, I would vote for him in a second!!

I agree with both of you. I don't think he will be allowed to be the candidate because he will be stopped by the money hungry big govt side of the republicians.

But the American youth want him in. He promises them a job and a reduction of debt.

And you are right about Australia following. We had a generation the could find work under Howard and now that they have voted him out they are not happy. They are losing their jobs and watching a disgraceful govt.

I have to hold my tongue from saying  "Told you so before the election".

The MSM don't like him much, that's for damn sure!

Talks about freedom too much and encourages others to learn what it actually means!

*Sure....they're anti competitive as any subsidised job is.  It wouldn't be there without the tax payer.  Very damned difficult for a brainwashed collectivist to understand that I know....  (swaggy) *

We had a Ron Paul in Australia, and her name was Pauline Hanson, but some laughed and geared her when she stated that free trade in Australia would kill off Australia’s manufacturing and jobs, and look what’s happening, all Australian manufacturing and jobs are going overseas.

What happens to a country and society when its loses the intellect and ability to manufacture anything?

FFS,is Australia so desperate that it really need to import food from countries where the food is sprayed with poisonous chemicals and grown in polluted climates?

No, since we still export more food than we import..

In 2009-10, Australia exported $24.3 billion worth of food compared to food imports of $10.1 billion. A substantial proportion of these food imports comprised highly processed foods not produced in Australia, seafood and processed fruit and vegetables.

Yep, so still export far more than we import.....Which makes a joke of your "is Australia so desperate that it really need to import food from countries where the food is sprayed with poisonous chemicals and grown in polluted climates" line

Australia is importing 50% of the food its exporting, and you think this is a bloody joke!!

If Australia is not desperate, then why is it importing $10.1 billion dollars worth of food you simpleton?

If you are content with the idea that other Asian countries, 3rd world countries and especially China don’t have the same high standards about NOT spraying or growing their fruit & Veg with a carcinogenic or their  livestock, poultry or fish and seafood grown is contaminate water and soil, then that’s your prerogative, but not everyone is as wispy, wispy as you.

There is NO REASON why Australia needs to import food form overseas!!
