No one's answered either of my two questions:

1. Why is it cold in NSW summer?
2. When will it actually be summer weather in NSW?

How about I try this one, just for you Matty?

And the answer is -
When it starts to get warmer!

Where is all this global warming? It's not been hot at all in NSW for the last three weeks, AND IT'S SUMMER!

In the last 3 weeks? in NSW? Mate, you need to look at Global mean temperatures over about a 10-15 year running average to see any pattern whatsoever.  You won't see anything significant looking at local temperatures over  a 3 week period. It was quite warm in Adelaide yesterday too for that matter, but that's about as relevant as anything else you've said.

I know what you mean. Myself, I don't believe in gravity. It's just a myth perpetrated by cosmetics companies to sell anti-ageing creams to women.  They actually look as young as they always did.

Such insight suggests knowledge. Hey Matty we will ask you again in Jan/Feb when Sydney is getting it's run of 40's with no break and the dry it murder. Nice and warm all week here in Young. Out look is to get hotter. OH yea can you explain to me where the connection between ambiant temperature and global warming are. I understood that one of the most damaging parts of global warming is the increase in ocean temperatures that will cause more powerful weather events and make it impossible for many species to survive. And isn't it the migratory and habitat change on the land that will cause major issues. Probably you should ask why are the winters so mild.
