EVIL

This thread can be about America's involvement in the Middle East and the Pacific, and any undemocratic action that they take against their own citizens.

I don't like to take too much notice of what The Sun says, but RT are hinting at the same thing. Israel have just tested their nuclear weapon. It looks as though the UK, USA and Israel will go together. Of course we will follow.

UK steps up war plan over Iran nuke fears
Navy could back U.S. strike

BRITAIN is developing plans for an attack on Iran as fears over its nuclear threat rise, it was revealed yesterday.

Cruise missile-armed subs and warships could be moved within range of the rogue state in months. They could then join any US-led strike on atomic plants.

The contingency planning follows an upsurge of aggression among Iran hardliners, led by tyrant Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The posturing suggests Iran's nuclear programme may be nearing a breakthrough. Israel reacted yesterday by test-firing a new long-range missile.

Ministers have been warned Iran has burrowed atomic centrifuges into a mountain base under the city of Qom. Military planners fear doomsday hardware could soon be stored safe from air attack — unless there is a pre-emptive strike.

Ahmadinejad, who has vowed to "wipe Israel off the face of the earth", is seen as the biggest threat to world peace. A US-led attack is unlikely before President Barack Obama seeks re-election in a year.

An MoD source said: "Britain won't be caught on the hop if Iran goes off."

And an official spokesman added: "We want a negotiated solution. But all options should be kept on the table."

some reader comments:

Why do we always have money for war but not for are community centres and people? I wonder why... Perhaps these companies that make weapons profit massively from illegal wars.

is a pretext of the British government wants the oilfrom Iran, if Iran attacks any country would becatastrophic for them, all Western countries against Iran would go, if they invade thousands of women, children would die Iranian

here we go again what do Iraq Afghanistan Libya and Iran got in common let me guess OIL the same old reason stop the lies this is not the first time we have heard that a country has weapons of mass destruction. so they cant have nuclear weapons but the UK USA and Israel can how is that fair ?

Like the UK needed another war right now... Like the world needs USA and the UK starting a war right now. What for now?Lot of natural resources there I bet.

so it was afghanistan, iraq then libya soon syria and iran ...y y y does it has to be with war y we interfear on other people country, who made US AND UK the world police.then are we going to complain if we see terrorist attack in our countries..why pick on people just becouse you can.again why is our goverments brainwashing people when its the oil they are after and wealth, and in return thousands of people will die and dont 4get we carry on like this we are giving terrorist reason to kill people too i urge and i hope our goverment dont go along with this

Well it's not really a secret that the west, aka "the good guys" have been itching to start a fight with Iran for some time now.  The only question is what will be the excuse?  Standing up for womens rights? defending Israel?  gay rights?

The war against facial hair.

It wouldn't be gay rights, because Amadinnerjacket is obviously a bit of a drama queen. Some definite latency issues there.

Nuclear Iran vs Terrorist USA?

Iran has made computer models of a nuclear warhead, says IAEA report on Tehran’s suspected nuclear activities, due to be published next week. Meanwhile, Iran is set to unveil documents accusing the US of links with terror groups.

The UN nuclear agency is planning to reveal previously undisclosed intelligence on Iran’s suspected nuclear arms program next week.

The report may reveal the International Atomic Energy Agency possesses intelligence information alleging Tehran of making computer models of nuclear warheads, diplomats have told the Associated Press on condition of anonymity. The agency also plans to show satellite imagery of what it believes is a large steel container used for nuclear-arms related high explosives tests.

In the wake of rising tensions between the US and Iran, Tehran in its turn said it will release documents accusing Washington of involvement in acts of terror against Iran and other countries.

A senior Iranian lawmaker Alaeddin Boroujerdi said Friday the documents will discredit the US administration and will prove the United States and Israel are the chief sponsors of state terrorism.

Earlier on Wednesday, the country’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said: “We possess 100 pieces of irrefutable evidence that reveal the US role in directing terrorists for conducting acts of terror in Iran and the region.”

"Assassination of Iran's nuclear scientists and massacre of the Iraqi and Afghan people are just a part of the US crimes which are not hidden to anyone," a senior member of Iranian parliament, Esmayeel Kosari, claimed as quoted by FARS news agency.

Earlier there were some reports that the US was involved in extrajudicial activities in the region.

“I’m almost definitely sure the United States is at war with Iran through proxies,” Robert Baer, author and former CIA case officer said in Current TV’s 2009 documentary Vanguard: America's Secret War With Iran. According to Baer, US intelligence is in touch with PJAK, Iraq-based Kurdish militant nationalist group which frequently carries out attacks against Iran.

In the latest diplomatic maneuver, Iran has sent an official letter to UN chief Ban Ki-moon, ruling out accusation of plotted assassination of Saudi envoy as “baseless” and accusing the US of conspiracy against Iran, according to IRNA news agency.

Patrick Henningsen, editor of the Infowars.com website, told RT a report is due to be released on Monday that has detailed documentary evidence of US involvement in the funding and arming of terrorist groups that organize terrorist attacks in Iran.

“What we are seeing here is war propaganda. One side is from the US and the other side is Iran’s counter-propaganda to show that the US is actively involved in operating terrorist groups in the region. The timing of the situation is incredible. Let’s look at the US policy on nuclear right now – Obama approved a $200 billion bill to upgrade the US nuclear arsenal! There is a bit of a double standard going on there,” he stated.

'Iran cornerstone of possible WW3 over Mid East'

Tensions are once again mounting against Iran ahead of a crucial report by the UN nuclear watchdog, IAEA, due next week. Meanwhile, Israel has tested a new ballistic missile. Some reports go even further and suggest the idea of a military strike on the Islamic Republic is being pushed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. And British media say that with Iran remaining resilient against international sanctions, the attack could come as soon as next November. Various media cite the UK Ministry of Defense and Whitehall as their sources.

Israeli Army, Intel Sites Down After ‘Anonymous’ Threat

The Israeli army and intelligence agencies’ websites were offline on Sunday, two days after hacker group Anonymous warned it would “strike back” for Israel’s capture of Gaza-bound ships on Friday.

Anonymous, a network of online activists who have attacked government and financial websites around the world, released a statement Friday warning that the group would take action against the navy’s seizure of two ships aiming to break Israel’s blockade on the Gaza Strip.

“Your actions are illegal, against democracy, human rights, international, and maritime laws,” the statement addressed to the government of Israel and posted on Youtube and Anonymous-affiliated sites said.

“Justifying war, murder, illegal interception, and pirate-like activities under an illegal cover of defense will not go unnoticed by us or the people of the world.”

Websites for Israel’s army, internal Shin Bet security service, and Mossad spy agency could not be accessed on Sunday. It could not be confirmed that Anonymous was responsible.

An Israeli army spokesman said it was a “strange coincidence” but he could not confirm that hacking was responsible.

“Initial investigations conducted by the internet company indicate problem with the internet servers,” a military spokeswoman added. She said they did not know whether it came as a result of a hack.

In its statement Anonymous slammed Israel’s deadly raid on a flotilla heading to Gaza last year, which killed nine Turkish nationals.

“If you continue blocking humanitarian vessels to Gaza or repeat the dreadful actions of May 31st, 2010 against any Gaza Freedom Flotillas then you will leave us no choice but to strike back. Again and again, until you stop,” the statement said.

Organizers of the ‘Russell Tribunal on Palestine’ also reported that their website had been hacked on Sunday.

Prominent British lawyer Michael Mansfield, speaking at the international law hearing, noted “I leave you to your own conclusions as to how that has come about.”

On Tuesday, the Palestinian internet cable-network was outed in what officials called a “serious act of sabotage.”

The Palestinian Authority minister of telecommunications said hackers from more than 20 countries attacked the network, which was restored on Wednesday.
