FORMER Labor transport minister and union boss John Robertson has vowed to be the "most energetic" opposition leader NSW has ever seen.

Mr Robertson, 48, was the only MP to stand for the state leadership when the Labor caucus met today in the wake of Saturday's devastating election defeat.

He promised to overturn voters' distrust for Labor through hard work.

"I will lead a Labor Party that will stand up and fight - fight for the little people, fight for working people, fight for the people who struggle every single day to make ends meet," he said.

Who caused all this in the last 16 years?

So your party have not been fighting for the little people, the working people and those who are struggling then what have you been doing in the last 16 years?

You are a tool!

He has been hanging around his union labor mates too long. It might work for him to sound straight (while his head spins) around his labor mates but I heard him today and was not moved with the impression he was trying to give us.

Time will tell but that also gives us time to look at this guys history as well.

Pity him and most of the other Labor clowns didn't show any energy in the 16 years they were inflicting themselves on the people of NSW.
And now he wants to get all energetic.

I immediately liked John Robertson when Paul Keating expressed his animosity towards him.  No one who Keating hates can be all bad.   Grin

Seeing as Opposition Partys quotes  seem to lead in the MSM News - as news- the test will be on Robertson to be an effective  watcher and reporting on  Ofarrell .

The ALP will never 'rule' again at State level, specifically NSW.
Labor is gone.

...but the Unions are stirring. Shocked
