Labor's campaign director, Luke Foley, has found one piece of good news for the ALP amid the gloom:

"The statewide swing to the Liberal and National parties is not being repeated in the inner city to the Greens," he says.

Thats an APPALING result for them - down 2 percent on the federal election. and in an election where labor shed 17% to not pick up at least 5-8% is a disaster!!!! NO WONDER WOODY ISNT AROUND!!!!!

Libs WALKED it in in my electorate, with 80% of the vote.

The Greenies got a % of less than 10%.

Yes Longweekend .. I know .. which will make it easier to push Bills through and thus clean up the bloody mess a tad faster.

Looking ahead though .. it's going to be a painful 5 yrs for us in NSW .. so as I said .. we're gonna have to hang in there and try not to whinge while all the cleaning up takes place.

So much needs to come out .. and I am sure it will.

Our Lib candidate won with 80+% of the vote. She came second, with less than 20%. And she STILL got more votes than the Greens. Smoke THAT, Woody:-)
