Traditional values have always conjured up so many positive images for me.

In essence I instinctively think of large, pretty and well maintained homes with manicured gardens/decent sized front and back yards in safe neighbourhoods close to good schools and shopping centres .. with hard working dads who come home to loving wives (who pursue hobbies/careers around school hours) and children (who are loved, nurtured/encouraged/supported to do well academically/in sport/music). I see a pet of some description, 2 cars (his/hers) and a weekender (up or down the coast) for family holidays.

Is this so awful?

For me .. all this is a dream waiting to happen.

Agreed Lisa, now women HAVE TO work to pay the bills. Gone forever are the days of spending time with our children throughout their most formative years, ladies tennis or golf days during the week. Corporate Australia is now effectively getting twice the number of slaves for the same effective price!
