The question you need to ask is this...

Were the marriages 'consummated' on the day, or are they like the 'arranged' marriages, common to many cultures ( traditional Irish for a start)...where the wedding takes place at a young age, but the couple doesn't live together (or have sex) for 6 to 10 years afterwards????

You could Google "Nujood Ali" and read her story.
Married at 9 then raped divorced at 10 child brides are very common in Yemen and Saudi Arabia, Iran also allowed them when Khomeni took over.

Read Quran 4:34- Good women are obedient if you fear disobedience beat them.

Another verse i forget which number its clear women have to have sex whenever their husband demands it even if they are cooking/cleaning.

Mohammad married a 6 yo girl called Aisha,she was his favourite wife i guess the others were not young enough.

The Quran tells you to follow the example set by Mohammad so these child brides are common in Islam.

I know about those Baron....I'm referring to the Gaza story....

And Aisha was 9, not 6...

The hoax slayer needs more evidence before he can claim it was debunked he is very ignorant about Islam.

He claims the grooms were holding hands with their young nieces AND COUSINS little girls aged from 3 to 8 made up to the nines wearing white wedding dresses.

The problem with that claim is with Islam these girls are forbidden to be dressed like that in front of non mahrams and a cousin is a non mahram,the article did say nieces AND cousins.

We could ask the good sheik about wearing a white wedding dress and see what someone who preaches Islam says about this and he mentions mahrams.

I sent emails to the Greens,labor and Liberal about Sharia law.

The greens support sharia law for family matters in the email reply they gave me.

I asked them to remove me from their list that spams my email inbox.
