I think this would be a great idea. Both Turnbull and Gillard have taken some positions that impressed me - things that should have been done a while back, but which are not exactly easy for the public to here, so most politicians have not been game to address them.

From Gillard, it was the population issue.

From Turnbull, it was carbon taxes.

I think they would make a winning combination.

I think that the reason that Labor-Turnbull is attractive to Left leaning voters is that they are very uncomfortable with the extreme left position they can see Labor heading with the Greens in charge if the detour signs

A thread just disappeared and I assume it was an accident. It's getting too hard to sift out the good from the bad on this forum.
