Mind Virus Wetiko: Collective Shadow of Humanity

Every human alive has a shadow or a kind of mind virus (also called wetiko) which sets up our external life situations while hiding within.

The existence of a mind virus

that plagues all of humanity – every man, woman and child – at first may seem like a far out concept, but it’s an idea that has been around a long time in a lot of different cultures. Religion has grappled with the problem of evil for aeons. Deep down the rabbit hole of conspiracy research you will eventually get to the same theme – that there is some dark force coordinating the many nefarious schemes and agendas we witness daily in our world. Although there are definitely outside beings and forces coordinating these agendas, including the hybrid royal bloodlines, negative ETs such as Greys and Reptilians, discarnate entities such as Djinn or Archons and some kind of self-aware AI, we ultimately have to ask ourselves: is this evil actually a real force outside of ourselves, or is it rather the collective unconsciousness of humanity that appears as its own force and entity but is not? Are we infected with an actual mind virus installation, as the shaman warrior Don Juan of the Castaneda books suggested? Or are we facing the collective shadow, the disowned, unloved and unacknowledged parts of ourselves, which have been shoved down and repressed so much that they have become twisted and emerged as a monster appearing as its own lifeform?

Paul Levy on Wetiko, the Mind Virus of Humanity

It’s a big question, and the answer is not necessarily one or the other. I was recently impressed when watching the book release presentation of Paul Levy, who authored Dispelling Wetiko: Breaking the Curse of Evil. Paul shows a deep understanding of the mind virus theme, and explores it by talking about wetiko. Wetiko is a native American Indian term describing evil spirits. According to Paul, wetiko is a mind virus, but unlike other viruses, it won’t mutate itself. It forces us to mutate by tricking us into identifying with it. Like any virus, it needs a host to survive. As Paul writes in his article The Greatest Epidemic Sickness Known to Humanity:

“Wetiko is a virulent, psychic pathogen that insinuates thought-forms into our mind which, when unconsciously en-acted, feed it, and ultimately kills its host (us). It doesn’t want to kill us too quickly however, for to successfully implement its agenda of reproducing and propagating itself throughout the field, it must let the host live long enough to spread the virus. If the host dies too soon, the bug would be prematurely evicted and would suffer the inconvenience of having to find a new residence.”
This, of course, is virtually identical to what Don Juan had to say about the Mud Shadow Flyers (Archons):

What is the Origin of Wetiko?

“The origin of wetiko is the psyche, the collective unconsciousness.”
“[Wetiko] synchronistically explicates itself through the medium of the outside world … it’s as if this virus that’s in the collective unconscious somehow extends itself and actually configures outer events so as to … express something that’s happening inside of us.”
“It works through the unconscious, the blind spot, the shadow. It acts itself out in life, yet hides itself in the process.”
This is a brilliant way of encapsulating the essence of the mind virus. It is a master of distraction, making us look outside of ourselves and find issues and problems there, rather than looking within. We find people or groups outside of ourselves that match our projections of evil or darkness, then falsely believe the darkness is (only) outside of ourselves. This becomes a self-perpetuating feedback loop where we become unwitting propagators of wetiko.

These ideas are exactly in line with what famous psychologist Carl Jung said about the shadow. Jung said that, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” The qualities and aspects that we don’t like, acknowledge or love in ourselves are the ones we judge, criticize and attack in others. Yet, on an ultimate level, your world is a reflection of your inner state.

Dear One,

Your conscious presence in the world leads to the opening of the consciousness of all people. Your Soul's task is to carry the light of Love and Truth with you wherever you go, no matter what you are doing. Through this intention you will bring more Peace and Light into the world.

Being a visionary, you see in your mind that which you wish to accomplish. It becomes your intention, as if you are taking aim, pulling back the bow and shooting your arrow toward your target. With this clarity, you will surely reach your mark. There is, however, the question of when.

At work in the world is the principle of Divine Timing. It is one of the immutable laws in the universe, such as Divine Order and Divine Justice. It is not something that you can push to make it go faster. There are times when you must wait upon the will of God in order to have your dream manifest in the most appropriate way for your highest good. This requires patience.

It is sometimes difficult to have patience when you can see your vision so clearly. Often there is the desire to make it happen now. This is not God’s will but the ego’s will at work. You might be able to force the manifestation of certain parts of your vision, but it will not feel right once this occurs. It will feel as though you are pushing the river. When all is flowing according to God's will, miracles occur. You can ride the wave of this energy and it feels effortless.

Practice:

Imagine that you are at one of those points in your life when you want very badly to have a certain vision manifest. Let's say you really want it now but you are struggling against a wall of obstacles. If you are mentally or emotionally tense, anxious and impatient, anything that you do physically at this time will be pushing at the energy which is already at work. It is at these times that you must step aside, even though it may be most difficult. Release your striving, and turn the whole situation over to God and the Angels.

You can assist the manifestation of your dream by simply sitting quietly and breathing in Divine Light and Love. As you continue to breathe these balanced breaths, see yourself in a pillar of golden light. This is the light of peace, love and wisdom that connects you with Divine Inspiration and the nurturing presence of the earth. While sitting in this light, in your mind’s eye remember your vision, the dream that you want for your life at this time. Allow your dream to be energized by this pillar of golden light. Know in your heart that you always receive that which is in your highest good.

Know that the Angels are blessing you with love and wisdom. They are blessing all that you need to do in order to have your dream. Feel this loving presence with you, enfolding you in love and light. Feel Peace permeating every fiber of your being. Know in your heart that all will come to you in perfect Divine Timing. Give thanks for all the blessings in your life. Give thanks that this dream is manifesting in its own perfect and right time for your highest good. And as you exhale, release this vision to God and the Angels and allow this energy to work for you.   

This practice will help give you patience and trust in Divine Timing. With a small amount of conscious focus you can begin to apply these principles to your day-to-day living and create a life filled with more Peace, Joy and Love.

This is God’s will for all. Call on the Angels for assistance and remember to take time to breathe and receive the knowing in your heart that all is in the flow of Divine creative energy.

And most of all remember:

Dear Ones,

In the expanse of all life, there are times when the messages of God’s Love come through the presence of Angels. These blessed beings of Light carry the powerful presence of the Divine to touch the hearts of all those who are open to receive.

Never before has there been a time when the gifts of Divinity are so available. You need no intermediary, as these gifts are a part of your Soul’s destiny. There are moments in life, however, when a personal loving touch from the Grace-filled Wings of Angels can act as a soothing balm to the soul who yearns for more Love, Peace and the pure joy of Divine Union.

And so there are Angels to bless, embrace, guide, protect, and love you into the eternal place of unity with God within you. The Archangels, as the leaders of the legions of winged beings of Light, hold a special place within the ascension of the Earth and all humanity. They are the architects of new life, and each one holds a special resonance that your soul recognizes as Truth.

There are even moments when the field of Light that holds this resonance coalesces to create a new life path, or to enhance the journey your soul has chosen. At those times, your most Divine Self has put out the call to receive a greater presence of guidance, empowerment and love into your life on Earth.

When you are ready for mastership  — living in your most Divine Self while in human form  — that is when your soul opens to receive a special quality of consciousness from the Archangel who is called. Your whole body responds to this essence in pure acceptance, and your energy system opens to the rewiring necessary for divinity to transform you from the inside out.

A new rainbow Light Body is being created within your energy system that has the capacity to hold higher frequencies and live in harmony with the Earth at the same time. The Archangels have been tapped by Divine Intelligence to work with those souls on the earth who are willing to walk with them on a new journey of Oneness.

It is not that Angels are the only path to ascension, but these beings of Divine Light are offering to ease the way for you and bring forth a new level of freedom so you can express your highest divinity in fulfillment and alignment with your soul’s destiny.

We want to work with the creation of your light bodies. We want to refine your energy systems to contain more Light from God, more Grace, more Love. All that we do together will transform physical reality and uplift humanity. The world needs enlightened leaders. The more people who are accessing the light frequencies, the lighter the planet becomes.

As you embark on this new discovery path with the Angels of Light, it will affect all areas of your life in a way that brings new awareness and Soul Alignment. You will find correlation within you so all is in alignment with Divine Union. Because the Archangels are here to teach the principle of Unity Consciousness, you will see how skillfully it all fits together.

The call has gone out. Who will answer? Let your Soul respond. And so it is.
