You are assuming I knew someone personally. I do not know everyone in this country, but I have heard many stories of people losing their jobs because of workchoices.

Do you honestly think workchoices was good for this country? Don't forget, the majority of people voted out the Howard government because of it. That should tell you something.

Explain why the majority voted Labor in 2007? If workchoices was so good, why didn't people like it enough to vote the Liberals back in?

What killed WC and the Howard govt was that peoples kids and grandkids were getting ripped off.

A nephew of mine was ripped off as regards his entitlements, one of those the cheap companies kept on a string for months. A niece of mine got unfairly dismissed, a job she rejected would have left her at the mercy of the boss re what days she had to work.

Howard of course was just the second PM to lose his seat. Stanley Bruce lost his about 80 years ago: that idiot too tried to fiddle the IR laws.
