Yes - and it's pretty poor quality from some of them. There are some very decent posters here from Yahoo, but a few of them are just out to stir.

You occasionally find one spammer on a board, but they don't last long. There are at least 3 here at the moment. I'm surprised they've lasted so long.

I left Yahoo ages ago, well before it crashed, before their mods began imposing restrictions on it's posters.
However, what remained were the dregs, so if you were some of the last posters there, (Those with minimal pride) I would be keeping this to myself if I were you.

This is why most of the decent posters left well before the boards crashed and burned.

We had had it up to the back teeth with grubs and trolls.

It is usually the killer response as it is quite rare to find a labor supporter willing to have a detailed discusison or debate over policy. they rarely rise beyond the standard "labor good, liberal bad" retorts.

No Way will a female like Julia Gillard get more than about 25% of the population vote. She is NOT a strong female (and they don't have to dress either way). Gillard just doesn't have "it".

Eventually, Australia will have their first female PM ........she'll be a rightie of the Liberal/National Party but she is only about 35 at the moment and has children to raise. Wink

Well, Gillard was always going to be their last hope, their last desperate attempt to win an impossible election they knew they had little chance in winning due to their failings, so...it was worth a crack I guess.

Whilst Gillards childless, it's clear for all to see she's been left holding the baby in this instance.

Don't be surprised to see Bill Shorten take the throne at some stage later on down the track, this or at least try to.

They just need to work on getting the censorship laws through first, so he can wipe his reputation/slate clean (and associated negative press) ... Well, they were probably hoping anyway.
