I for one, hope Labor do NOT get a second term...
I've voted Labor my entire life.....but the stuff ups involved in the various 'schemes' coupled with the reviving of the ETS tempts me (or even requires me) to vote Liberal....THIS time around..
The 'possibility' of the return of WorkNoChoices(by the Liberals) scares me a whole lot less than certainty of an ETS...
Yes, I can see why you would say that Gizmo, although I must say it amazes me that a chap of your obvious intelligence can be so taken in by the climate change denialists, it always leaves me flabbergasted just how they manage to con so many normally smart people into accepting ludicrous conspiracy theories and idiotic technobabble.
The problem is that most people of 'obvious intelligence' are the ones who don't fall for the AGW story....
The 'idiotic technobabble' is mostly on the AGW side.....
Most intelligent people can see and understand the massive holes in the AGW concept...

The biggest give-away is that the ONLY 'bad' chemical, out of the 6 or more 'Greenhouse Gases' is also the only one that is absolutely necessary for all life on Earth and 'just happens' to be the only one that is produced by ALL industrial processes...
Anyone with half a brain, who's seen 'An Inconvienent Truth', would have to come down on the sceptic side of the debate......Let's face it, Al Gore is possibly the best possible proof that AGW is bullshit.....
Tack on the numerous errors (and hippy rhetoric) spewed out by the IPCC and the CRU and the only logical conclusion possible is that the whole AGW/Global Warming story is a complete beat-up, invented by Luddites.....
Utter balderdash Gizmo.

Well that is just bullshit of the first degree, nobody "remembers it" because it never happened, as it was no more than a one off what if article in a US news magazine, that got picked up by a few daily's on slow days, as a curiousity story, it was never a "scare" or a big deal, and never proffered by any scientists as a realistic scenario..
The people who claim it was a big deal like global warming are out and out liars, no prevarication, no excuses, just deliberate unashamed liars, who do so to promote the misinformation campaign that drives the Denialist arguments.
Perhaps you are right, and I should have used the word "Sensible", instead of intelligent, because only people with no sense, willfully choose to ignore the world's best experts when they give advice.
They have another word for those people, Feckwits.
