Yep. Only once though - somewhere in northern NSW.

However, I've seen James, as a solo artist, play live about half a dozen times.

He's one of my all-time favourite live performers.

Can't understand a word he says, but he puts on a great show.

Saw him at the Enmore once (maybe twice).

The real Dragon, with Marc Hunter.

Most memorably at the Floreat Hotel and Warwick Hotel in Perth.

They're all dead now, except Marc's brother Todd.

Wow they were good.

Did you know -
Marc Hunter and James Reyne met and knew each other well. James Reyne was a big fan of Dragon who attended their shows in the mid-to-late 1970s before forming his own band. The two also toured together while Marc Hunter was alive, and Reyne performed with Dragon during their ARIA Hall of Fame induction in 2008, stating he knew Hunter quite well. Additionally, Reyne provided a tribute for Hunter's biography, describing him as a charismatic and intelligent figure.
