Speak to an organist who is willing to let her ‘have a go’ If they use their brain they’ll set the instrument up with all the stops out. If it’s in her blood only a few minutes doodling around on the thing will hook her or scare the living daylights out of her. It’s the best way to find out.

Two guitarists playing virtuoso electric guitar of famous classical songs have done well to have the sound recorded as well as it was is something of an achievement. And if you did not know about post-production of recordings, then I suppose you were asleep when Queen created "Bohemian Rhapsody" or "Princes of the Universe" among other epic songs. Computers these days have the ability to isolate and eliminate distortion found in recordings.

I showed her that clip and asked if she'd consider it. She did this thing kids are doing at the moment (which makes parents want to slap them), saying yes with words while grinning and shaking their head in the negative.

In her words: 1/ being the school church organist = irreparable reputational damage. 2/ I play enough music for my AMEB. 3/ Do you want me to have time to study.

Fair nuf.
