I love Metal.
But I can't help but prefer European Metal than 'Western' (UK/USA) Metal.
European Metal just seems heavier and more solid ...the language doesn't really detract from the essence of what is produced.
German Metal will always be 'Darker' than British Metal. I guess thats why Led Zep found their 'style' more to playing Europe than for fabricated USA. As did Nick Cave's stint in Germany to attain his 'darkness', till he sold out to 'Gospel' USA (Irk!)
