IMH, it is useful to know languages of your enemies.
I think Defence department of USA identified the lack of knowledge of Arabic as a weak point of American military intelligence in its war against islamist terrorism.

I am not too concerned which language it is going to be, but just make it 1 for all and I'll be happy.

There is a lot of wisdom in other languages. Chinese in particular is rich in proverbs.

Here is a very appropriate one for this forum:

纸里包不住火。
Zhî li bäo bú zhù huô.
Paper cannot wrap up the fire.
(The truth eventually prevails.)
