Another Case of Sudden Jihad Syndrome in a Convert

(CNN) -- An Arkansas man was arrested Monday in connection with a shooting at a Little Rock military recruiting center that killed one soldier and wounded another, authorities said.

Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad -- a 24-year-old Little Rock resident formerly known as Carlos Bledsoe -- faces a first-degree murder charge and 15 counts of engaging in a terrorist act, Little Rock Police Chief Stuart Thomas said. The terrorist counts stem from the shots fired at an occupied building.

While authorities continued to investigate a motive, Thomas said Muhammad is a Muslim convert and, based on preliminary interviews with him, investigators believe there were "political and religious motives" in the shooting.

Military officials initially believed the shooting was a random act, but Thomas said police believe the shooter acted alone "with the specific purpose of targeting military personnel."

The soldier who was killed was identified as Pvt. William Long, 24, of Conway, and the wounded soldier is Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula, 18, of Jacksonville, Thomas said.

Ezeagwula is in stable condition and expected to recover, the police chief said.

"I'm relieved there's a suspect in custody," said Capt. Matthew Feehan, commander of the center.

Feehan said seven other recruiters were in the building, but nobody else was injured.

Thomas said police recovered three guns from Muhammad's black Ford SUV: an SKS semi-automatic rifle, a .22-caliber rifle and a pistol.

The victims were just out of basic training and had not been deployed, said Lt. Col. Thomas F. Artis, commander of the Oklahoma recruiting battalion that oversees the Little Rock recruiting center...

Looks similar to attacks at recruiting centers in Iraq.

Only question what he'll get?

Richard Williams, uncle of the arrested plotter Onta "Hamza" Williams, lamented that his nephew, a Baptist who converted to Islam, "…wasn't raised this way. All this happened when he became a Muslim in prison." Indeed, Warith Deen Umar, a Muslim chaplain who worked for 25 years in the New York State prisons and was considered a highly influential cleric, reportedly boasted that this vast incarceration system was, "...the perfect recruitment and training ground for radicalism and the Islamic religion." During his chaplaincy, Umar also repeatedly gave sermons fomenting Jew hatred, witnessed by prison staff.

But beyond all this, the obvious question persists - although dutifully avoided by our learned religious, media and political elites in this sorry age of Islamic correctness: What Islamic teachings might these American Muslim converts have learned, whether in prison, or elsewhere, which caused them to target their American Jewish neighbors, specifically, for mass killing? Simply put, it is impossible to comprehend this ugly phenomenon without understanding the core, mainstream Islamic theology - still unreformed and unrepentant - which has inspired hatred of Jews since the advent of Islam?

Non-converts to Islam, inexplicably, are also behaving badly. Abu Rashid and Co must be counting their blessings that they can convert to Islam and no Catholics of Lakemba are outraged enough to manhandle them at scheduled intervals.

ISTANBUL, June 15 (Compass Direct News) – Since Iranian native Nasser Ghorbani fled to Turkey seven years ago, he has been unable to keep a job for more than a year – eventually his co-workers would ask why he didn’t come to the mosque on Fridays, and one way or another they’d learn that he was a convert to Christianity. Soon thereafter he would be gone. Never had anyone gotten violent with him, however, until three weeks ago, when someone at his workplace in Istanbul hit him on the temple so hard he knocked him out. When he came back to his senses, Ghorbani was covered in dirt, and his left eye was swollen shut. It hurt to breathe; his whole body was in pain. He had no idea what had happened. “I’ve always had problems at work in Turkey because I’m a Christian, but never anything like this,” Ghorbani told Compass.

And isn't Abu Rashid really, really lucky that Chrstians are nothng like Muslims? From that great Muslim-pride country, Pakstan:

Christian Murdered for Drinking Tea from a Muslim Cup
WASHINGTON, June 12 /Christian Newswire/ -- International Christian Concern (www.persecution.org) has learned that radical Muslims running a tea stall beat a Christian man to death for using a cup designated for Muslims on May 9. The young man, Ishtiaq Masih, had ordered tea at a roadside stall in Machharkay village, Punjab, Pakistan, after his bus made a rest stop.

When Ishtiaq went to pay for his tea, the owner noticed that he was wearing a necklace with a cross and grabbed him, calling for his employees to bring anything available to beat him for violating a sign posted on the stall warning non-Muslims to declare their religion before being served. Ishtiaq had not noticed the warning sign before ordering his tea.

The owner and 14 of his employees beat Ishtiaq with stones, iron rods and clubs, and stabbed him multiple times with kitchen knives as Ishtiaq pleaded for mercy.

The other bus passengers and other passers-by finally intervened and took Ishtiaq to the Rural Health Center in the village. The doctor who took Ishtiaq's case told ICC that Ishtiaq had died due to excessive internal and external bleeding, a fractured skull, and brain injuries.

Makah Tea Stall is located on the Sukheki-Lahore highway and is owned by Mubarak Ali, a 42-year-old radical Muslim. ICC's correspondent visited the tea stall and observed that a large red warning sign with a death's head symbol was posted which read, "All non-Muslims should introduce their faith prior to ordering tea. This tea stall serves Muslims only." The warning also threatened anyone who violated the rule with "dire consequences."

A neighboring shopkeeper told ICC on condition of anonymity that all Ali's employees are former students of radical Muslim madrassas (seminaries).

Ishtiaq's family said that they immediately reported the incident to the police and filed a case against Ali. However, the murderers are still freely operating the tea stall.

When ICC asked the Pindi Bhatian Saddar police station about the murder, the police chief said that investigations were underway and they are treating it as a faith-based murder by biased Muslims. When asked about Ali's warning sign, police chief Muhammad Iftikhar Bajwa claimed that he could not take it down. However, the constitution of Pakistan explicitly prohibits such discrimination.

The public is encouraged to call the Pakistani embassy of their country to protest this heinous crime?

Bad Muslims. Really bad. But it has nothing to do with Islam, obviously. . . We all knoww it could happen in a Martin Place cafe, couldn't it? They could have a small sign, " No Muslims are allowed to drink from cups used by non-Muslm customers" somewhere and proceed to beat to death anyone found concealing his OR heer Muslim identity.

HATE preacher Abu Izzadeen has been sent back to jail - following a four-letter rant at cops. The former electrician, 34, swore at officers checking he was at an approved address and not associating with extremists - both conditions of hisrelease just seven weeks ago.
Izzadeen - who has called for the beheading of British soldiers - accused police of harassment and refused to let them in.
Prison Service chiefs then ordered his immediate recall.
Cops called at the temporary West London address of Izzadeen - real name Trevor Brooks - on June 25.
A source said: "He was extremely angry, yelling at the officers to get out of his face. Then he started swearing. They were only doing their job. He should never have been let out early - now he is back where he belongs."

Abu Izzadeen, eh? What's with converts calling themselves Abu this and Abu that? What's wrong with Ahmed?

Military police forces killed the gunman, identified as army major Malik Nadal Hasan, a military psychiatrist who was soon to be deployed to Iraq.

The major was believed to be a recent convert to Islam

No, he is not just an American of Palestinian arab descent. He is a Muslim. Hhe is the only US army psychiatrist he 'blew his stack'. Why? Because he could not reconcile his Muslimness with hi Americannes. He was about to be deployed. his Americanness hd to give in a way thatr it only gives with Muslims. Only Muslims are conflicted to the extent that they will engage in jihad, which is what this guy did. Because he is a Muslim. No other reason. His muslimness is central to what he did.
We all know it. Everybody knows it. Some people will pretend it's not not important. They will be held in the same contempt as this guy.

Daniel Pipes just yestreday spelled it out: American's used to bar communint from enetring he US. It is time to bar professing muslims, he said. Sounds like a timely, even prescient, call.

You guy are on the nose more and more, with no redeeming features.

Yes I'm sure he did it as a Muslim... then again, I'm sure some non-Muslims might go over the edge if they listened to those horror stories of the wicked sadistic things the soldiers do to the civilians of those countries...

But non-Mohammedans do not go over the 'edge'. And even if they did, it would not be in the form of killing their comrades.

Every non-muslim soldier who, standing next to a fellow soldier of Muslim faith, has asked himself, 'can I trust this fellow?' has now had his answer.

Every family member of every non-muslim soldier who asked, 'can I trust my son's and daughter's Muslim comrades in the military?' has now had his or her answer.

Every other person working with muslims in a job where you have to trust the fellow next to you had his answer to the question 'can I trust this guy?'.

There is no paranoid, unfounded 'islamophobia'. As those dead and wounded will attest, the phobia is not irrational or unfounded at all. Never has been.
