And even if they did, it would have nothing to do with Islam, and even if it did have something to do with Islam it would be due to a misinterpretation of the Koran by those who do not understand Arabic, and even if it wasn't a misunderstanding it would have been all the west's fault anyway.

I doubt it. Deflecting is not a criminal offence. Apparently he's not one of the militant Muslims, rather he's one of the those that make excuses for the militant ones.
