Many 'whites', have suffered horribly in the transition from colonial rule in Africa, and often we see this manifest itself in a profound hatred for 'black' people.
I used to have a Sth African customer who witnessed terrible things, and he has developed a burning hatred which he will never likely be rid of. Just because they are white, does not mean that they will not have serious issues, which they will bring to these shores, just like many black africans do.
It is hard to be personally judgemental of people who have experienced horrors which we have not.
We had revered 'Diggers', who maintained an absolute hatred for the Japanese, because of their experiences in WW2, we may not have agreed with them, but we could empathise enough to understand why they felt the way they did.
People from anywhere can be good or bad, and we can understand how their experiences could scar them, we just have to try and help them where we can, in moving on and accepting that if they come to our country as migrants, we have standards which we expect all citizens to maintain, irrespective of their pasts.
