The slight difference.

It is so marginal and so decisive.

Walking along, some peoples eyes gaze downwards. Others are up and peering at the world.
Some see their feet and the trudge. Some see the future expanding in front of them.

At stages I have stumbling blocks in front of me. Wherever I turn, whatever I do.
I need a 4WD but I am in a corolla.
Later on the stumbling blocks become my stepping stones.

The slight inclination in my head puts my eyes on the future horizon, not the next step.
