I think with older women and younger man phenomena it comes down to conditioning. Society tells us we have to stay and remain looking 20 something forever, that men are only interested in younger women..this is hardwired into a womans brain.Advertising ,plastic surgery, tv media, husbands ,boyfriends tell us dont get fat, etc. Its hard to undo years of social conditioning.

So when a younger man shows interest in her she somehow doesnt quite buy it. She thinks he doesnt really know my age, if he knew he would never look at me, so therefore it cannot happen..we know instinctively we cannot base a relationship on a lie, even one of ommsiion..so we just dont go there.

Older women know they only have so much to offer them..the body clock thing for instance..young men want and require babies..so it would be unfair to enmesh them into a situation whereby she knew that can't and wont happen.

I think for instance myself, I look younger than I actually am..the other day I noticed a young guy of around 18-22 tops giving me the eye. He was pretty cute too..but I immediately dismissed him as 'too young'..I thought he thinks Im younger than I am..most pple tell me I look much younger, so therefore I thought its based on false perceptions even if I found myself intrerested in someone this age, its not do-able, so to speak.

Where do you meet older women Donald..? In a supermarket..can ask them any number of questions such as 'can you tell me if......'? Fill in the blank.


I think older women just have issues with seeing younger guys like myself. Number 1- they feel too intimidated. Number 2-They don't think they're worth it. Number 3- They don't wanna date someone so unstable financially and perceive us to be immature. Number 4 - They think all young guys perceive them as ugly therefore dont bother trying .


This statement tells me you are emotionally very intelligent perceptive  and mature  DT..I hope you find one soon.

My pet ducks used to chase my son who was a bit naughty and used to grab theyre beaks...he would run as fast as he could all the while trying to fend off pecking of the backs of his legs, from an irate duck..for ducks they were fast. Was very funny.
