You'll have to choose your words carefully Aussie N. You know what they say about homophobic men! The P...... word is definitely relegated by the homophobes.

The Mardi Gras is a little bit of fun and I think we are going to have to accept the fact that homosexuality is here to stay. In fact it seems that every second person seems to be leaning towards gay - well in the younger generation anyway.

I don't mind gay couples walking around in public holding hands - although I'm not partial to passion in public, but that applies to heterosexual couples as well.

Live and let live. Their lives are hard enough anyway with the torment and rejection they appear to receive on a daily basis from bigots.

I just think its disgusting. theres nothing that sickens me more than a feminine bloke.
The pupose of sex is to reproduce, humans are the only animals on earth that practice homosexuality.
I believe it to be a mental disease.
My main concern is poof couples adopting children, and how this child will grow up.
Does this child have a chance to grow up normal? The parents are the number one influence to a growing child.

I don't mind seeing two women getting it on in public, and hetero couples don't really bother me either, depending on the place. Don't think I've ever seen men kissing in public, though when I've seen it in movies it has thrown me a bit. I guess I would get over it pretty quickly. One of my mates was out spearing one day near a known nudist beach. He stood up in shallow water near some rocks and right beside him on a patch of sand were two gay guys going at it hammer and tongs. I don't think he was too pleased at the time, but seemed to think it was pretty funny when retelling it.

I think it's a natural urge to bond combined with lack of partners of the appropriate sex. It is probably very common in the wild, but just hasn't been observed because it is hard to pick the sex of many animals.

It's true Aussie N - homosexuality is very common amongst birds. I used to keep a few varieties of birds years ago and males paired up very frequently - especially lovebirds and budgerigars who were quite happy to see their life out with another male.

It's not dominance - it's loneliness and affection I think. Sometimes I believe males are more needy than females and as the animal world has no moral standards to adhere to, they choose who they want.

I don't mind effeminate men - but I'm not very tolerant with "butch" females - maybe I'm femophobic.

Im not sure about the answer though, maybe it depends on the credentials of the parents...the morals and values they teach them.

They will sure have a broader understanding of the world than your regular kid Id say.

A complaint made by a gay rights activist after broadcaster John Laws called a homosexual TV personality a "pillow biter" has been dismissed in the NSW Administrative Decisions Tribunal (ADT).

In 2004, Laws called Carson Kressley, the star of Queer Eye For the Straight Guy, a "pillow biter" and "pompous little pansy prig".

Laws said his comments were supposed to be funny and tongue-in-cheek.

In a further shot at Laws, Burns said the broadcaster's "souffle went poof ten years ago".

It has already been demonstrated that hormones from the pill released into the mediteranean affect the sex of fish.
