Welcome D&R members.

So THAT'S where all our new trolls have come from? I had wondered at the sudden influx...

Interpretation:
They don't agree with my viewpoint therefore they must be trolls.

Well, you must be, or you wouldn't have come onto this thread simply to post that carp.

You're just poopy because I called you out on your desired genocide of conservatives, thus highlighting the inconsistency of your 'egalitarian' morals.

Hi Guys,

Interesting forum you have here!

I'm particularly interested in Australian politics as a current ex-pat who is soon to be repatriated.

I'm also a youngster who is intrigued to know what Australian Politics is like for the 20 somethings participative or exclusive?

Thanks,

Nick

Hi everyone. My name is Rob and I've just joined your forum. It's been very interesting reading so far and I hope to take part in some of the debates. As for me I am a 38 year old medical worker who moved to Australia from Scotland 5 years ago. I currently live in, the very remote, town of Bedourie in outback southwest Queensland.

Hi all, Im Andrew. I'v been tackling a problem with has come to dealing with politics at a much less formal level with much more practical hands on approach necessary.
I decided to start a website and forum (just kicking off but can be viewed at fairbloodygo.org.au). I would like to discuss the development of this site/forum with anyone who is interested to join as an official state holders in the site and its mission.

The motivation behind the board was a result of the recent matters relating to Jill Meagher and her husband Tom.
It has become clear to many that the Government is terribly at fault. However, as expected there is now the duck and shove dance that is only adding insult to injury.
Cutting a long story short I want the website (FBG) to become a general forum to handle things of this nature. To empower individuals. To allow them to group together to partition government and organise protests and the like.

First on the agenda though is directly related to Jill and Tom. The Adult Parole Board of Victoria is again going to apply (Dec 2013) to the state to have the current state of being exempt from Human Rights and Freedom of Information extended. I would like to form a group that can assist with attempt to stop this happening.

Sounds like a very good cause Andrew. Welcome to the forum. For my sins I'm one of the moderators.  Freediver is the owner of the forum.

Hi all,

Woops, this would be my second post on the forums because I just leapt straight into make a comment.

Been around a while on different forums, then stopped for a while to deal with life, the universe and everything.

I am not sure if "interested" would be the word to describe how I feel about Politics, but having a desire to participate might be more apt.... Given what we have to deal with now days though, participation can be fraught it would seem.

Whilst I have no doubt that I will be labled according to ideological perspectives, I would suggest that whoever does that has already lost their argument... Why? In short, I do not see a clear ideological divide in this country presently. That will become more evident as I post I hope.

Anyway, hi all, see you in topics  Grin

I thought I would wait to reply until I could point out that my assertion was correct.

Although not directly called a lefty or righty one erstwhile pundit has decided that I am a liberal voter.....

Day one mate.

No apology needed.
