What was the last social media post of Brendan Nugent

The most recent social media activity I could verify for Brendan Nugent, the 43-year-old accused of attacking MP Helen Haines, was on Sunday, 18 October 2026.

According to the Australian Associated Press, Nugent reposted two items on X (formerly Twitter):

* An article concerning an Italian investigation involving Israel's defence minister.

* A video concerning the trial of British comedian Russell Brand.

His X account is .

These were reposts rather than necessarily statements he wrote himself.

Other reporting identifies the Israel-related post as his final one, approximately 21–24 hours before the alleged attack on Monday, 19 October.
