I’ll wait for the actual reporting from the FBI, not Trump’s mouthpiece who has already been caught out multiple times and forced to walk back claims, quoting Fox News as though that settles anything. Especially when there are now multiple calls for his resignation, even from within his own party, over how badly he has handled this.
And all of this matters even more given that what we know from primary sources doesn’t align with the manufactured narrative being pushed.
The Fox News report in question came from Brooke Singman, who has already been caught fabricating details for Fox contributions in the past.
We also know that the Guardian initially reported the shooter was "the only member of his family that was really leftist", only to retract it after admitting it was false.
The New York Post ran with the claim that the shooter lived with a transgender partner, but if you read their own article the headline contradicts itself. The supposed "source" is a family member of the roommate, who openly admits they have no idea if the two men were in any sort of romantic relationship, and likewise admits ignorance about the roommate's politics or whether he is even transitioning.
And when you dig into the origins of these claims, where do you land? Laura Loomer. Every thread leads back to her. She's been desperately trying to redirect blame away from the inconvenient reality that the shooter was a white conservative Christian.
So what do we actually know about the roommate? His name is Lance Twigg.

The filter was intended to give him an anime-style appearance. Instead, it glitched and feminised his features. His own comment makes clear that he was laughing at the misfire, noting the filter "had no clue what it's looking at". And that, in its entirety, is the "evidence" supposedly proving he is trans.
The TikTok links directly to his Instagram, where his
bio reads:
Quote:"Not Tyler Robinson's bf/gf/it-ef, claimed for boredom, feel free to chat. Christian, right leaning."
So the alleged trans person is openly using the "it-ef" misgendering, a phrase considered a slur by the trans community? That checks out, does it?
Your side has twisted this nothingburger into: he's trans, he's in a relationship with the shooter, therefore we can hand-wave away the shooter's immersion in gun culture, his far-right Christian upbringing, the Groyper meme etched onto the bullets, and the fact that Groypers themselves declared "war" on Kirk for not being extreme enough, which in your telling somehow makes the shooter a radical leftist.
And let's not gloss over the most galling part. This same man, Lance, is the one who actually helped turn the shooter in. Yet you've decided to paint him as the villain, because the verified truth cuts too deeply against your narrative.
But sure, let's all keep pretending Fox News is gospel.
This is why I said, I'm waiting for the verified reports from actual law enforcement investigating this.
The narrative you're clinging too doesn't stack up.
