Some may remember Delvene Delaney in the raunchy No. 96
And Jane Fonda, Rachael Welsh were gorgeous.

As young girls we looked at female actresses/singers as influential for dress code, hair styles, make up.

Now my fave male celebs from eons ago….

Mike Cole of the mod squad.
Sidney Poitier in to sir with love
Steve McQueen on any Sunday
Chuck Norris because of his expertise in martial arts
Michael Langdon bonanza
Mel Gibson mad max
Rod Taylor
And
Sam Neill

Yeah Raquel Welsh was big name around when we were younger…

Ursula Andress in James Bond - although a bit before my time was still a big name around when we were growing up…

Much better than “Pussie Galore” and “Octopussie” lol Grin

No not really. Not even any member of The Rolling Stones.
Elvis not much either.
I liked Peter Tork of the group The Monkees. Mad about them at age 13 and was in their fan club.
And… was head over heels in love with Normie Rowe.
I had a lot of posters up of many singers and groups in my teen years.

Wasn’t my cup of tea as a young teen.
I also played musical instruments and had music lessons and exams, from age 9.
One of my absolute faves at age 12/13 was Johnny Farnham’s Sadie….
I couldn’t afford modern music sheets so I wrote my own music of the song by ear. I still have that music somewhere.
It’s just the way my soul ticked.
By the time I was 17 I quit music, was more into fashion and dolly magazines.

Bobby, I developed early in life, (grade 6) way too young to cope with the attention!
The wolf whistles, the sexual innuendo etc that I simply shunned anything obviously sleezy or sexy.
Such as the singers you highlighted could get any girl or all chicks went for them… too obviously sleezy/sexy for my liking. I preferred more conservative types, that kept their shirts on or didn’t wear pants  for outlining the bulge of their private parts.
Maybe I was just different to the rest?
Most girls I knew as mid teens had lots of sex whereas I didn’t, and I didn’t even lose my virginity until 19 n half almost 20!
Anyway, that was loooong ago now.

Re: buying music sheets from music store, I finally saved up to buy one.
I still have it.

Raquel Welch was one of those rare 'respectable' women who got through her career and life with dignity and no scandals, etc. I think 10 years ago she gave Hollywood a real blast against all the dirty men in that Industry. Her daughter Tahnee (Cocoon) was a hot sort too.
