its all a big scam

money for pen pushers and administrators and grifters

no different to the job network

Perfect - just perfect!  You've got it!!

Cost per hour to 'provider' - $65-120+ - payment to worker - $28 .... balance $37-92+ for 'management' by someone working from home and copping all the cons, with virtually zero management or business skills far too often, and a constitutional inability to get off their own arse and actually fill in when work is required.

Such 'businesses' - unless they are politician's wives' businesses etc and are biggies like early childcare was when reaping millions for some UNNAMEDS - partner and self-made millionaire via inside trading - very often go bust because the 'managers' simply cannot manage.

The turnover is enormous... and you would think that an average of about $75-80 an hour to sit at home and Fat Control would be enough to keep Thomas on the boiler... but not this lot..... they go out backwards all the time and offend staff constantly ... no management skills, you see ....

Once again In Australia (Once Upon A Time In Australia?) - the totally wrong approach goes off the rails.....   Roll Eyes  Cool  Huh

ADDS:-  Oh - and now the putsch is on from Plug Ugly for  9% pay rise for 'early childcare educators' - there goes the childcare over-subsidies just pushed through... same deal, of course, most goes to the 'management' though I'd say their overheads in REAL childcare are higher than NDIS.

Mind you the costs of institutional care for disabled are high - remember that hospital and the hire car.  I had it lined up to go home on the bus and be picked up at the stop - we're Aussie blokes after all - they said NO WAY!!  You've just been cut wide open and it'll take months to heal !!!

I can see the potential for rorts though, when the 'boss of 'home care' cops a nice little earner for just adding a semi-deaf rich lady to the list....

It is often the "little things" that see governments thrown out of office.

Yet another example of the out-of-touch Canberra Bubble:

...

Shorten speechwriter on a two-year $620k contract

More than $620,000 of taxpayer dollars has been set side for a speechwriter to NDIS Minister Bill Shorten, after Services Australia was unable to find an existing worker to fill the role.

New NDIS laws needed to stop claims for bird seed, cuddle therapy: Shorten

New NDIS legislation must be introduced to ensure the scheme pays only for disability-related supports, Bill Shorten says, pointing to previous claims for washing machines, bird seed and even crystal therapy.

“The NDIS has to be reserved for disability-related supports,” Mr Shorten said. “Currently, NDIS dollars are going to crystal therapy, bariatric surgery, rent, washing machines, even birdseed and Wet’n’Wild tickets.

We have organisations even promoting cuddle therapy to NDIS participants,” he said.

NOT satire.

as an example several local riding schools have NDIS accreditation

they charge the clients package about 200 to 300 an hour to let clients come and pat a horse

this used to all be done for free under "riding for the disabled"

now it costs the taxpayer a motza and the people are greedy grifters, not truly compassionate volunteers

pretty much

i think even down to the ndis paying for sex workers for the disabled.

certainly if you are an NDIS worker, you can use ndis funds to go on a fishing charter or to a theme park or the movies and rakew the disabled person with you.

golf, going to the gym, to the beach

if you are a carer, the ndis pays for you and the client to do whatever the client wishes to use the funds for (to "be all that they can be")

and the funding is very generous

They even pay for their child care, can you imagine?

Back in the day they'd just whip out their uteruses. Now they allow these people to breed.

Ah, the Superior Man, he upon "the narrow road". You won't see him getting about with a gammy hand or club foot. He'd rather cut the damned thing off than be "differently abled".

Not so much a man as a God.

And that's okay. The Superior Man likes to cut a few corners. He's a little bit naughty.

Where would we be if Julius Caesar hadn't overruled the Senate and copped a few knife injuries?

True, he may well have lived and required in-home care, but he'd hardly need to rely upon the state, now would he?

He owned an entire empire.

It's a post-truth world, dear. Laugh's lies are another man's facts. Who can tell?

Laugh says one thing, your daughter says another. Who can truly say?

I will say this: I see no reason why it would be Laugh.

Look, your daughter's clearly scamming someone.

You?
