The Labor and Liberal politicians set to make $millions from the AUKUS money train.

The AUKUS scam exposed

Liberal Party and Labor Party former politicians, such as Scott Morrison, Joe Hockey and former WA Premier Mark McGowan are lining up to cash in on Australia’s defence spending which is expected to double and hit $100 billion a year.

At the top of the list for greedy former politicians is the $368 billion AUKUS submarine deal between Australia, the US and UK.

Anyone who has watched the AUKUS deal knows it is a huge fraud and it is nothing more than a massive slush fund for corrupt politicians to make a lot of money and that is what we’ll look at in this article.

What you will see, as far as defence spending and the AUKUS deal is concerned, is that both the Labor Party and Liberal Party act as if they were one party and they don’t even try to hide it.

The exact number of former politicians that are on the AUKUS / Defence money train I don’t know but I am sure there are others making money from the defence industry. With the rapid growth of defence spending there will many more in the near future. If you know of any, please add them in the comment section below.

As the years go by and the AUKUS scam becomes more and more obvious the politicians will just try another scam to cover-it up. Hopefully by then Australia will have a minority government heavily reliant on independents who will make sure it is exposed for the scam it is.

a comment:

just another Military Industrial Complex conjob,
providing jobs for the ex politicians/ex defence enablers of such!

Thanks  Frank,
Maybe he lied about his education?
Perhaps that's all he can do?

Baron Münchhausen (born May 11, 1720, Bodenwerder, Hanover [Germany]—died February 22, 1797, Bodenwerder) was a Hanoverian storyteller, some of whose tales were the basis for the collection The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.

Münchhausen served with the Russian army against the Turks and retired to his estates as a country gentleman in 1760. He became famous throughout Hanover as a raconteur of extraordinary tales about his life as a soldier, hunter, and sportsman. A collection of such tales appeared in Vademecum für lustige Leute (1781–83; “Manual for Merry People”), all of them attributed to the baron, though several can be traced to much earlier sources.

The baron recovering his silver casket, which had bounced up to the Moon, illustration from a 19th-century edition of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen by Rudolf Erich Raspe.
Münchhausen, however, was launched as a “type” of tall-story teller by Rudolf Erich Raspe, who used the earlier stories as basic material for a small volume published (anonymously) in London in 1785 under the title Baron Munchausen’s Narrative of His Marvellous Travels and Campaigns in Russia. Gottfried August Bürger freely translated Raspe’s volume back into German in 1786, and it was Bürger’s edition that became the most widely known in German. Later and much enlarged editions, none of them having much to do with the historical Baron Münchhausen, became widely known and popular in many languages. They are generally known in English as The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.

North Korea's Kim Jong Un says country will increase number of nuclear weapons,
according to state media

...

48m ago

In short:

Kim Jong Un has vowed to redouble efforts to make his nuclear force
fully ready for combat with the United States and its allies,
according to state media.

In a speech marking the 76th founding anniversary for his government, Kim said North Korea faces "a grave threat".
What's next?

South Korea will hold a defence ministerial meeting with the member states of the United Nations Command.

While Mr Kim has repeatedly made similar pledges,
his latest threat comes as outside experts believe he will perform provocative weapons tests
ahead of the US presidential election in November.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said the country is now implementing a nuclear force construction policy
to increase the number of nuclear weapons "exponentially,"
according to state media.

In a speech on North Korea's founding anniversary on Monday, Mr Kim said the country must more thoroughly prepare its "nuclear capability and its readiness to use it properly at any given time in ensuring the security rights of the state", said KCNA.

So - a she'll be right attitude playing with lives of our service members.  WTF?

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-09-17/taipan-helicopter-that-crashed-into-jervi...

A Defence air safety investigation has confirmed an Army Taipan helicopter
was flying without recommended modifications to its engine
before it crashed off the New South Wales south coast.

...

Several defence force personnel were injured when the MRH-90 aircraft ditched in Jervis Bay during training manoeuvres in March 2023.

Update: "One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts, who successfully pushed for a summary of the first crash investigation to be tabled, told Parliament the findings were damning.

"'Defence decided to keep flying the helicopters without the modified parts and eventually get around to it, while failing to consider and document the risk these things would lose engine during low-level flight because of this,' he said.

"Investigators failed to find evidence the army had conducted a safety risk assessment to determine the likelihood of an engine failure within its Taipan fleet. They also found the Jervis Bay crash would never have occurred had the Taipan fleet been fitted with the modified blades.

"Greens Senator David Shoebridge said there had been no accountability for the failings inside Defence.

"'Rather than senior officers being held to account, demoted or even sacked, what Defence did is literally shuffle the deck chairs, change the part of the organisation that undertakes this responsibility and just moved on,' he said."
