Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I'll bet he wished he had never fought in that war ... look at him now searching for their dead ... feeling guilty as hell probably

What a waste of lives money and resources our involvement was in that unwinnable conflict ... and we all pretend it never happened

And the veterans were thrown on the scrap heap, now the brainless politicians wonder why they can't get recruits to join the military

Not true, Bias, not true.  The ADF is usually swamped with potential recruits when they open their doors to them.   Australians, of all sorts support the ADF, particularly today of all days.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

That's a very generalized statement with no stats to back it up. But any potential recruits foolish enough to join will do well to read a bit of history about the Vietnam conflict before they trust any politician or government. As well as that, a bit of history about the Afghanistan conflict as well

Anyone who joins the military today is either desperate for a job or wilfully ignorant.
Never trust politicians with your future, they’ll happily train you to kill and give you a gun, then send you to kill people who have never done you personal harm.
Yet they forbid you to keep anything for the purpose of saving your own life against unlawful acts by criminals in your own home.
