You should be OK Bobby.

If you have another RAT perhaps do another test in a day or two because RAT's can be unreliable although with the symptoms you've described it does seem like you have Covid.

As Greg said - see if you can get antivirals.

I'll ask my doctor tomorrow - over the phone - and see what he says.

Some friends dropped me off a RAT kit.
Result of RAT test.
I've got effing Covid.

Sorry to hear that, Bobby.

Are you eligible for the anti-viral treatment?

If not, do you have plenty of Panadol and sore throat gargle in the house?

Lucky you've had a few jabs - you'll probably get over it in a couple of days.

Fingers crossed.

I hope I get over it.
My last booster was 11 months ago - Jan. 2022.
Those boosters lose efficacy after 3 to 4 months so I have little or no protection now.

I'm sorry you were totally misled by the hype and took the jab for nothing and put your health at risk but at least you will go to heaven Cheesy LOL

That's how they trapped a lot of people with the threat of losing their job. The scam was definitely well planned from long ago Sad

Bobby… I had COVID back in January and as crap as I felt with it… I phoned for medical advice and was asked 2 questions… you need to ask yourself…

Can you breathe okay?
And do you have any chest pains?

I answered no to both so wasn’t going to bother going to hospital but…
I had it for over a week and went through various stages …one stage was the coughing…
I sat up in bed and thought… this could just affect my heart … the coughing was so bad..I actually contemplated calling an ambo.

As Sprint says… sleep elevated … put blocks wood or bricks under the feet of your bed head…
It elevates your top part of body and you don’t feel like you’re chocking … helps to make breathing easier too.

But importantly is keeping hydrated. Even if you don’t feel like eating or can’t keep food down… sip water at intervals … throughout most of your waking time.

When I had Kovid I could not eat anything… and as for vitamin d,c, zinc, etc.  I took them for 2 solid years prior to catching COVID… then I could not handle swallowing any tablets let alone Panadol.
I lost 6 kgs in that week n half.
Drastic way to lose weight.
Weak and fatigued I was but every week after my energy started to return … I was pleased I recovered within a month after whilst many I had read about… still have fatigue a year later… perhaps those vitamin d, c, zinc etc really did build a stronger immunity and recovery rate?

The free sausage sizzle almost got me in but the needle in my arm put me off.

Thanks Sophia,
I'm still alive this morning after a rough night.
My doctor is closed - yet the internet website says he's open.

I think I've got Covid.

I'm not feeling well.
I have cold symptoms.
I'm very sick now - temp of 38.4 Celsius - that's 101.1 degrees Fahrenheit
I took 2 Panadols at 6.30pm and my temp has gone down for now.
I’ve been in bed for most of the day.

I hope I get through this.
I have no RAT tests.

I'm triple vaxxed with AZ but as we know it doesn't work very well.
There are other colds going around too.
I was at a shopping center food court 4 days ago and a Chinaman
was coughing and not covering his mouth only 2 meters away from me.
Why do sick people go to shopping centers and then not practice hygiene rules?

Bobby

Bobby please REST. Play soft music to lull you off to sleepy bay which is very important right now AND drink lemonade/water etc Also chicken soupy type stuff is important. Keep your diet simple and easy to digest. Make sure you keep those fluids up as going to the toot helps you eliminate toxins.

The second you over heat or suddenly feel super cold ... grab a shower. Don't sit in bed sweating OR shivering. These conditions are indicative of your body not being able to regulate its temperature.

If you find yourself in wet sweaty pjs immediately and I really do mean this immediately remove them and take a shower and freshen up. Put on dry clothes.

As a general rule : Never let wet (from sweat) clothes dry on you. You'll end up with bloody pneumonia 🥺
