China and Russia.
Feb 20th, 2022 at 4:30pm

Are these 2 countries as dangerous as each other ?

I believe they are.

Both authoritarian regimes are in expansionist mode. And both are more or less ready to test their armaments on the rest of the world.

In China's case...they have economic leverage as they provide Australia (and so much of the world) with a serious amount of textiles and manufactured goods.

Where does that leave Australia? Remember, we hardly produce much nowadays.

Given how brazen Russia is atm it would not surprise me if it's due to a quiet negotiation with China re an alliance of sorts. They have lots in common (authoritarian regimes, expanding their borders, building up their army/armaments etc) so these commonalities could well be a basis for unifying against NATO ie the US.

What are your thoughts on these 2 countries?

Are they both as dangerous (to Australia) as each other ?

Like Larry Holmes and Trevor Berbick (Boxing).
They'll both take each other out in the carpark.

(...because they both got floored by Mike Tyson on behalf of Mohammed Ali, who they both hammered, knowing full well - he was in no condition to box)

Both Evils will cancel each other out and 'soften the blow' of World War 3.

...Darth Vader (China) will turf the evil Emperor (Russia) off his back and into the void. Bye bye Russia.

What if that happens after they unite and cause Hell on Earth first?

Then the planet is doomed, especially humanity.

But because I know all will be well and go 'to plan' - such a thing won't happen, even if it 'appears' (via Media) that way... at first. Wink

BINGO!

Thought they had colluded!

You think about it - They're very similar.

• Totalitarian regimes
• Expansionist agendas
• Insane power hungry nutters running each country who are itching at the 1st chance to test their latest weaponry on civilians

God help us all.

MAD

We all know what that stands for. Yes?

Frankly, Russia showing off its nuclear arsenal is insanity and an instant reversion to The Cold War... if they were so stupid as to do that they would unleash chaos on the entire human race, and they know that.  Read an article last night that said Putin is aspergic, which is why he  carries on like a brass razoo and struts the world stage as a conqueror.  Crazy is the word
("neurologically diverse" - all insanities must be treated as equal and must be respected equally - you cannot criticise a nutter or name call or challenge a nutter with an axe - you might upset/trigger them and send them wailing into the corner curled up in a ball and hugging their chest... You Bigoted BASTARD!!)

Obviously both China and Russia have an interest in the resource-rich 'buffer states' between them - I communicate with a lady in Kazakhstan, noted for its mineral and oil wealth yet a poor country
(wow - it isn't just conservative capitalism, it's definitely the Robber Baron (Oligarch) style that is ruining national economies to suit gangster billionaires)
- clearly if Russia is intent on restoring its Empire, Kazakhstan is directly in the firing line, and since it borders Kyrgistan - that autonomous province of China LMAO - clearly this is a flashpoint between these two vulture nations.

I predict interesting times ahead..... and all because of the megalomania of two men ......so like Hitler and his minions it isn't funny.

What's wrong with trading fairly with other nations?  Amazing that both China and Russia so publicly loathe 'colonialism' - yet are more intent on it than any other nation....  YTF does Putin want to fight with Ukraine when trade is far better and more lucrative?  Why doesn't CCP accommodate with Taiwan when trade is so much easier and less costly and more beneficial?

Aside:- Perhaps both these countries feel that Old White Joe in the White House
(soon to be repainted and renamed to accommodate BLeMish)
is too weak, the US and Britain etc are too widespread in their military commitments, and their countries are too 'decadent' and 'weak' and 'exhausted by the War On Terror' - to want to fight over foreign lands...... to make that mistake they forget that the West sees clearly that when one piece of Europe falls into the sea - all are the less..... always has... always will ................... and that when you allow a dictator to conquer/grab without opposition, he/she will not be satisfied but will view that as a springboard to further conquest...
(you've seen that in microcosm for decades now in the West - give small whining, demanding, threatening minorities a gift horse, and they will not be satisfied, but use that as a charger to gain the next horse etc until they own the whole herd ... feminists, blacks, ethnics....pandering to them creates a monster for your own back)....

Only a 'desperate' nation would do what Russia is doing.
Russia is very desperate.
Losing it's Russian lands in the east to 500,000+ Chinese in recent years, possibly more - and in uniform.
A country in capitalistic turmoil where it's society has become chaos, poverty rampant and more.
Putin's 'grovelling' to Xi shows the tide has turned between the two nations.

...remember, all the trouble started with Russia right from the beginning.

The British penal colony Australia, given its size, will be divided into two parts after the liberation from the British occupation and the re-education of the yobbo population. Half goes to Russia, half to China.
However, given Russia's well known generosity, everything will be given to China.

Morrison is secretly hoping for a war to serve as a distraction for his incompetence. Meetings of cabinet committees, imposing sanctions and other measures, a lot of strutting in the media, how good are we. However, doing what's obvious isn't difficult.
