ah, thanks for that carl.

i must shoot an email off to mr perrotet and tell him to immediately close all testing facilities.

since this only cause sniffles (not one person is in icu with it and when they had similar delta surge 60 people were), it is now insane to test for such a mild thing and it is insane to make people quaratine when omicron will be literally everywhere

omicron is a delightful christmas present

you should make love to it carl befpre the omega variant arises and kills half of perth

Could it be that some posters here can't even grasp the concept of vaccination?

Those who choose to be unvaccinated may grasp a form of the concept if (and probably, when) they're required to pay for some or all of their hospitalisation costs.

Once vaccination rates reach above 95%, expect the financial axe to fall on the unvaccinated.

Meanwhile, here in Covid free Perth the shops and shopping centres are filled to capacity with Christmas shoppers.

It was almost impossible to find a parking spot at Belmont Forum yesterday when I was up there with my elderly aunt but I got one eventually after driving around for nearly 10 minutes.

447 active cases in QLD & 186 new cases yesterday.

1 in ICU with pre-existing medical conditions as well.

B'berg looking like it will become a hotspot ...

my copper son in law had been on duty outside nightclubs where positive cases have been last Saturday.

And we're supposed to be going up there for christmas today.

OMG!!!

Cases continue to skyrocket in both States and sadly another 11 families who will spend Christmas grieving for their loved ones.

What an absolute tragedy.

By the way... might be time to revise those vaccination numbers.

Fully vaccinated now means you've had the booster and possibly even a second booster may be needed.
