I would never send my kids at any age there!

I bet my sister (who thinks parenting is a sub contracting role) would (if she ever saw this link).

Finishing school must be a type of deportment agency for children. Ya know ... you deport them there 😂🤣😆

One of our very old neighbours here had only 1 child. A daughter.

She sent her to some famous Sydney agency for deportment instruction.

Her daughter also attended the best private school in Sydney and she was given private piano and violin tuition also.

Fast forward : this girl is now unemployed and on drugs and has announced that she's a lesbian. So she dumped her husband and her kids for someone she met over the Internet.

Finishing School. The place where you learn how to finish a lot of things 🥺

Yes I have, way back in the 1970’s at Suzan Johnston School in Melbourne.
Funny thing is, a couple weeks ago (because of lockdown restrictions etc) I’m attacking cupboards to clean out and tidy and came across scrap books I made then.

My daughter would always joke saying it’s hard to believe I went as I’m a bit tomboyish and swear somewhat.

I say well it’s you kids and your father that undid it all in me Grin

Suzan Johnston was married to a pro photographer Mark Keats if I recall (maybe need to dust off album to see) that did my wedding photos, expensive as all hell being twice the price as I had a choice back then as most brides did, we could choose cheaper affordable black and white, or colour.
I’m soooo glad I chose colour, to this day, many of my gen that chose b/w wished they chose colour.

I just recalled a very popular make up brand I used back then was Prue Acton.

Did you feel it was worth the experience?

At the time, as a young female, I felt it was an experience for gaining poise and some confidence I was badly lacking back then.
Hair and make up tips, clothes, posture etc. I actually enjoyed it very much. We had videos taken of us talking, then played back, and I can tell you, us students were all shocked to see/hear ourselves like never before.
We just cringed! Grin

We asked each other if we actually sounded like that!
As we always hear ourselves differently.
It’s so different now with selfie phones etc so it’s not such a shock for anyone Grin

I went to one in Melbourne, a long time ago. It was the done thing back then.
