Motorhomes will be set up in the far west town of Wilcannia to help with isolation efforts
While a total of 1,119 new infections were identified in the 24 hours to 8:00pm yesterday, 148,000 people received a COVID-19 vaccine yesterday, as the state's total number of jabs neared 7 million.
Four people died of COVID-19 in the reporting period, meaning there have now been 100 COVID-19 related deaths since June 16 when the Delta outbreak began.
The four patients who died were women in their 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
All had underlying health conditions and none were vaccinated.
There are now 917 COVID cases being cared for in NSW hospitals with 150 people in intensive care, 66 of whom require ventilation.
Of the 150 in ICU, 127 patients are not vaccinated.
