Dont dare to bring inadequacies of councils
Jun 6th, 2021 at 8:52am

To the public.

Man identifies crap roads with paint and is being sued by the grubberment.

He would have to buy bulk paint for the Central Coast.

The M1 or old F3 would be painted bfrom Newcastle to Gosford.

Pothole painter to fight case

Mick Crump has been charged for spray painting potholes.

A PILLAR of the community in country NSW will face court this month for spray-painting cracks in botched roadworks that forced council workers to fix the road.

Michael Crump spent 20 years paving roads for Griffith City Council and now sits on the council’s traffic committee responsible for the state of local roads, but he will face court for spray painting marks next to holes in a main street that he believed needed fixing.

Griffith City Council is seeking $5000 in compensation for
“repair work” to remove the spray paint, which ironically involved filling the dangerous holes just as Mr Crump hoped they would.

Police will allege the spraypainted markings required council “to expedite the repair” of Yambil St.

Police have charged Mr Crump with the criminal offence of “destroy or damage property”, which will go before Griffith Local Court in a fortnight.

Mr Crump, who suffers from terminal metastatic prostate cancer, will fight the charges.

In the meantime, Mr Crump will be honoured in NSW parliament next week when Murray MP Helen Dalton will praise his tireless contribution to the Griffith community as part of a Community Recognition Statement forever inscribed in Hansard.

“The charges are so petty, it’s pathetic,” Ms Dalton said.

“Mick is a terrific member of the community.”

Griffith City Council did not respond to requests for comment. The case is set down for mention on June 16.

I hope the judge  uses common sense and throws the case out with orders that council not only pay crumps legal fee's ... but also pays him for the time he took to do their job in the first place and identify these pot holes.

Council workers are essentially public servants

On what planet would you expect them to have consciousness and a good work ethic

If they had those they would be in private business

The groups of society who do not feel the evolutionary blowtorch driving them to better and better performances

ARE

Public servants
Council workers
Welfare recipients
Academics
Rabbid trade unionists

It goes without saying that these people are going to become lazy entitled jealous  angry and bitter when they look at the success of the Noble businessman

Subcontract out all road work to our wonderful toll operators

Who provide superior roads at half the price

Good point cods.

People vandalising statues of Captain Cook are people from the radical socialist left
They are a protected species

Mick is criticising the socialist unionized workforce of the public servant City council
As such he is attacking
These people and asking them to lift their game

They of course find this annoying
Having their inadequacys pointed out in such an obvious way
